I bought this brow gel in the colour Haze. A lot of brow products marketed to blondes border on being too brown or too orange instead of being closer to taupe. This product is slightly on the orangey side but thankfully not too much and still looks pretty natural for my hair colour. It gives my fair brows a boost of colour and definition without having to fill them in with powder or line them, and still allows my brows to look natural. The gel doesn’t harden on eyebrows either, and instead, leaves them feeling natural yet set in place with a non-transferable formula. The colour and hold lasts all day even with my oily skin. Definitely recommend. -

I received a sample of the Covergirl Fresh Weightless Water Cream to review from Butterly. First of all, I love the fragrance. You really smell the cactus, which is light and floral. It smells just like a cactus blossom candle that I owned, so the fragrance was familiar and delightful to me. Second, the product is 100% vegan. Lastly, the formula is lightweight, absorbs quickly into the skin, is extremely hydrating and nourishing, and leaves my face feeling soft and supple. I have oily skin, but because of the extremely dry winter where I am, I have dry patches around my eyelids and mouth. The product has 72hour hydration that keeps my skin feeling protected in this cold climate. I only wish that I got sent a larger sample size so I could try it long term to see if I have any skin reactions to it. The sample pack only has a couple days worth to try. -

I love this mascara! I like the curved brush, and how there's a short bristle end as well as a long one. It helps me get perfect volume as well as great lash separation. I've purchased both the waterproof and regular formulas because I love it so much. The non-waterproof formula is terrific and water-resistant on days when you tear up, and won't leave you looking like a raccoon. The waterproof formula is terrific and a must have if you watch a sad movie or go for a walk on a rainy day. -

I love this flavour of popcorn. I'd always buy several bags of it whenever Bad Monkey had a booth at the women's trade show which came to town twice a year. However, thanks to Covid, they haven't had any shows in almost 2 years and can only be purchased in variety packs of 10 on their website. Bad Monkey is sold at a few stores, but they have a hard time keeping it in stock because of how delicious it is! I've heard people have found it at Dollarama, Dollar Tree, No Frills, Circle K, Superstore, Walmart, and Winners/Marshalls. I haven't had any such luck finding this particular flavour there though. Too bad, cause I need my fix! This popcorn is so addicting. -

This product is great for the first couple weeks, but then the shaving cream/moisture bar around gets used up pretty fast, and I find it gunks up the razor blades a bit more than a traditional razor. The product is kind of bulky and harder to use around areas like the ankles, knees, and private areas. It's good for travelling though because you don't have to pack shaving cream as well. Preferably, I'm going to stick with mens razors because they're cheaper, provide a closer shave, and aren't as gimicky as womens razors. -

I got a free coupon for a starter kit in the mail. I used to use the Bath and Body Works plug ins but after awhile I found the scent didn’t last as long, the plugs were used up after a couple weeks, and the refills got expensive. This plug is so strong that even though it’s plugged in downstairs, I can smell it sometimes as soon as I get home, upstairs, from the opposite side of the house. The bamboo scent smells really clean and fresh, and a little fruity like honeydew or cucumber. The refills are also cheaper ($10 for 2 if they aren’t on sale). Like any oil warmer, you need to keep in mind not to plug them in directly under anything or it will burn/melt whatever is above it, and not to plug it in upside down or it will drip. -

I liked this product but I’m not sure if I’m quite in love with it? There is a bit of a learning curve to it. I usually use a pea sized amount on my fingers, and you have to rub it until it’s oily and then apply to your face. It applies like a facial balm/oil. It isn’t foaming and you definitely do not add water to this product. It’s pretty good at removing makeup and makes my face feel super nice after, and I pair it with the niacinamide + zinc drops and their moisturizer. It seems like a small amount of product for the price though. -

I received a sample of this to review from Chick Advisor. Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent. I hate florals and when I saw that there was vanilla in this scent, I was hoping it would smell more vanilla-y, but this is a very strong rose scent. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with scent sensitivities because the first day I wore it I kept catching whiffs of roses all day. I don't notice it as much now when I wear it but I hate applying it in the morning as I really dislike smelling it. The texture looks really weird but it applies okay and you barely notice the textural difference while applying between this and a normal deodorant. I've noticed he scent also really lingers on clothing too. -
