Tarte Cheek Stains were my first experience with cheek stains. I had heard so many good reviews that I had to get my hands on these! I have so many now and love using them for a sheer flush of colour or underneath a powder blush. They are pretty long-lasting but I do find that they last longer with a light dusting of translucent powder. I also love that Tarte is all natural and good for your skin. The chubby tube is worth the money because it will last a long time. When you're in a pinch you can also swipe it on your lips! -

I have so many glosses that I thought it would be ridiculous to add another but I just had to try Chanel's! I purchased Beige Guitare, a gorgeous nude with pink and gold shimmer. I love wearing this on its own when I just want a whisper of colour on my lips with a sparkly finish. When I want to add some pizazz to a flat colour, the pinky gold shimmer pumps it up a notch and gives it high shine. The glosses aren't very sticky and are pretty sheer. The shine isn't too long-lasting but after it wears off the shimmer lingers on the lips. I definitely want to try more shades - I love Chanel! -

Anastasia is the queen of brows! I use a few products from the line but this palette is one of my favourites because of its versatility. First, it comes with the 3 brow shades that you can mix for the perfect shade, 3 highlighting shades, and a mini clear brow gel (the best!). You can also use all shades as an eyeshadow. I do find the highlighting shades are a bit too shimmery for underneath my brow but look fun and sparkly as a shadow. It's a great little kit that you can carry anywhere and has a built-in mirror. -

Tinted lip balms are some of my favourite lip products! My lips are usually chapped so I love tinted lip balms for the moisture and colour factor. tarte's version actually are quite pigmented for a lip balm which I prefer. Some lip balms can be more shiny with a little colour that usually fades. 24/7 lip sheers are moisturizing but have more of a stain finish. They don't have a shine so it can almost look like your natural lip colour. It comes in a chapstick form that is easy to apply and transport. Might be pricey for a regular tinted balm but these are also all natural and the lasting colour is worth it! -

It is a fluffy angled brush that is perfect for creating a smudgy smokey eye along the lash line. It's also great for smudging and contouring in the crease. I love using this to also smudge pencil liners because it really diffuses the colour nicely. The handle is also short which makes it easy to work with. All his brushes have a short handle so it's easier to hold and transport! -

Another brand of lip products that I love are from Julie Hewett Cosmetics. Celebrity makeup artist, Julie Hewett, created a collection of red lipsticks when she was working on the set of Pearl Harbor when she couldn't find the perfect red. The packaging is very old Hollywood inspired which I love. You feel glamourous just pulling it out of your purse. The colours are long-lasting and are made with the signature rosebud and camellia oils that gives it a balmy moisturizing feel. I love the way it feels on my lips. My fave colours are Nude Noir, a shimmery pink-brown red, and Coco Noir, a sheer brick red. -

Urban Decay makeup is always so fun and edgy. I absolutely LOVE their lipstick line. I have the limited edition Lipstick cap that is purple and made out of metal. To twist the lipstick up you twist with the sword handle which is very original and definitely gives it that rocker edge. The lipstick formula glides on beautifully and comes in a variety of textures. There is also no funky smell and I find them to be very moisturizing. My faves from the line are Jilted, hot pink, and Gash, a blood red. The names are hilarious! -

These blush/highlighters in Peach and Pink are always in my kit. I use both shades for all my brides because it looks natural and gives their skin a natural glow. Pink is the perfect colour to give a bride that perfect "blushing bride" effect and Peach is great for warming up the skin tone without looking orange or tan. On myself, the pink shade shows up when I am not tan so I usually use a darker pink blush as a base then swipe this over top. Peach is gorgeous on its own or over a bronzer. -
