I go between this blush and Benefit's Hoola. I love the matte finish. It is perfect for when I do makeup for photography or tv. The photochromatic pigment blurs imperfections and does not add texture to the skin that is visible in hi-def filming or photography. I do agree that you do need a light hand when applying to lighter skin tones, but the warm undertone does not look muddy or orangey. The matte texture is also great for sculpting and shaping the face. -

I am a huge fan of Bobbi Brown's cheek tints! I agree - it is similar to Tarte's Cheek Stain but in a more travel-friendly size. The texture is easy to blend - just dab on with your fingers, with a brush, or apply directly from the tube and blend with fingers. The colour is sheer but definitely buildable. The finish gives your skin a beautiful glow - never shiny or oily looking. My favourite shade is Sheer Raspberry. It's a gorgeous deeper pink and gives your cheeks a nice pop of colour! -

Vibrating beauty gadgets are the latest thing! I really like this lash enhancing mascara primer from Lancome. It helps repair damaged lashes. The vibrations help get it in at the base easily but doesn't really help with the clumping. But otherwise, I have noticed my lashes are significantly fuller and longer and that says a lot for my short lashes! I do notice that with some mascaras particularly volumizing there is a bit of clumping but my lashes are twice the thickness so I can live with that. And if you're mascara has a wet feel to it, the primer might make it feel a bit "sticky". Overall, my lashes are really happy! -

I've always passed by Dermaglow products in Shoppers and hadn't really heard about it. When I got the chance to try this product I thought it was going to be a peel mask. I'm lazy so I already put it in my head that I wouldn't do a mask. But when I read Ali's review I was delighted to know you swipe it on your face like you would a toner. The results are amazing! I've noticed brighter, even, more youthful looking skin instantly. This has become part of my regular skin care regime! -

So glad Benefit reformulated their glosses! The original glosses I found were too sheer and didn't last long on the lips. These glosses are the perfect amount of colour and shine. They aren't quite a full colour but there is definitely colour. I love the shimmery glimmery finish it gives my lips. The gloss isn't tacky but has a nice rich texture that goes on smooth and gives a lasting shine. I also love the original apricot-lychee scent! The soft cushion paddle applicator hugs the lips and makes application a breeze! I'm in love with all 8 shades! -

Benefit's Lemon Aid has become my eyeshadow primer of choice! It not only primes the lids, but the yellow shade brightens and corrects any discoloration like redness. I love to use this after I pluck my brows and to highlight my brow bone (when I don't want a shimmer). My shadows blended easily on top of this primer and lasted all day without creasing. While it says it is one shade for every complexion, it might make lids on darker skin tones look ashy - like you're wearing a shadow that is too light! Benefit always comes out with products designed to make you look better - and more often than not usually do! -

I agree with Ali - this spot treatment from Burt's Bees definitely works! I've been using this for a week now on some pesky pimples and they went away within 2 days. I love that it's clear rather than a white cream because it instantly vanishes into the skin. My only issue and my husband's issue is that you have to use a q-tip or your finger to apply the product and it's sometimes difficult to get the product out. If it came with a dropper that would be better. Bottom line - the pimples disappeared! -
