Thanks Product Review Club for sending me this product! I've been using it for the past few days and find it to be doing a good job. I'm a long time lover of Dove products and have always used their anti-perspirants.
I find this one in particular better than their regular ones. It's a light pink bar that goes on very smooth and doesn't leave me with white marks. Compared to their other brands, this one doesn't have as much of a chalky feeling. I don't really notice any change on the stubble front, but perhaps it takes a few weeks to fully take effect on my skin. The "wild rose" scent is fine, but I prefer the "fresh" scent because it's a bit more youthful and doesn't have that traditional anti-perspirant smell. Great product and definitely something I would buy again in the future.

For the past 2 weeks I've been using the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme and find it to be a solid purchase. At first I was using it on my finger nails and I didn't notice much of a difference because my nails weren't noticeable dry. I think it's better to use if you have really dry or brittle nails. It's sounds gross, but after wearing nail polish on my toes I find it really dries out the nails. I've applied the creme three nights in a row and it works like magic. My nails look healthy and strong now. I'd recommend using it before going to bed because it can rub off easily. Overall, good item to own but not something I'd see myself applying every night unless I really needed it. -

I've heard a lot of positive reviews about Burt Bee's products so I decided I'd test out one of the lip balms. The first time I put it on I thought it smelt odd, but that's how it should smell. I continued using it and now I actually quite enjoy it. It's good for wearing before going to bed because it's light and soothing. I wouldn't wear it during the day because of the odd smell. I don't think it's as moisturizing as the product claims, but still not terrible. I don't see myself buying it again, but glad that I tested it out. -

I've been using this product for about a month and I think it's just okay. I wouldn't say it's the best I've used, but it's actually good for holding the shape of your hair. The level of volume added is just average, which isn't a bad thing because it makes your hair appear more natural. The product has a really strange smell for mousse - can't overly describe it, but it's relatively unpleasant until my hair is dry and then I don't notice it at all. Overall, good but not great. -

I’ve been using the Vaseline Sheer Infusion product for the past week and really love it. They’re not lying when they say deep moisturizing! It left my skin noticeably smoother and hydrated all day long. The cream has a unique smell that is very pleasant – not overly feminine so men could use this cream. One thing I did notice was for the first day or two my skin felt like it was on hydrate overload and was almost a little sticky. But by the third day it was completely smooth and satin-like on my skin. Overall, great item to use in the winter months or someone with dry skin year around. -

I visited the Dove Spa for the first time this past weekend. They had a promotion in the spring for a free facial if you sign up to their newsletter – talk about a good deal! The second I stepped into the spa I was completely impressed. Everything is white, very clean, friendly faces and pleasant people who really look like they love working there. In case you’re wondering, the spa is owned by the same Dove people who make the soaps, body washes etc. Therefore, throughout the spa there are lots of self-esteem quotes and videos playing. I was told the spa’s are all across the UK and recently opened in Canada.
First, they showed me to the change room where they gave me a robe and slippers. It was a nice touch and it really made me feel like I was at a spa – personally, I think more places should do this. Next, I met with Faustina who did a skin analyst for me. It was high-grade equipment that measured things like oil, water, dryness, elasticity etc. of my skin. And she also gave me a print out to take home.
The facial was really nice and soothing. I also liked how in each private room you could personalize the music – you could pick from 3-4 choices. My skin looked and felt great after the facial. Although, I ended up having a reaction to the products that really dried my face out and left me with a large red mark on my face. I’ve had reactions in the past so wouldn’t think it was the spa’s fault.
Overall, it was a really amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back! They have a lot of great deals so be sure to do some searching on the Internet for additional discounts.

I've used a few of the Montaigne Jeunesse masks and for the first few thought they were just okay. I didn't think it left my skin feeling that different than when I used a regular scrub face wash. They were inexpensive and the smell was nice, but overall noting amazing.
The last time I used one of the masks things really took a turn for the worse. I had a very bad allergic reaction - something that I've never had once in life. After a few minutes of the mask being on my face it felt hot so I washed it off sooner than directed (and I'm happy I did). All evening I could feel my skin tightening up and in the morning my face was completely swollen. As bad as it sounds, my one eye was even swollen shut. It took about two solid days before the swelling started to decrease. Since this mask I've never once had a reaction to any face product (ie. mask, cream, wash...)
My friends have used the same masks with no reactions, so perhaps it could be my skin type. My advice - buyer beware.

I went to Kula Yoga in the Annex for the first time last night. I found a great deal in NOW magazine for 30 days for $30. I’ve only been to a few yoga classes, so I’d definitely consider myself a beginner.
My class was lead by Chantal who was fantastic. She had a great opening talk that was insightful and meaningful. Her calming voice and warm personality really made the class even better. She was always so positive and would help people without making you feel like you feel like a junior.
The atmosphere is very friendly. Colin was at the front desk with Chantal and they were both really pleasant and efficient. The change rooms were clean, but a little small once the class let out. There were no lockers, which would have been nice for valuables.
Overall, great experience and can’t wait to go back!

I went to Starving Artist a month ago and really loved it. It’s definitely off the beaten track and you’d be making a trip especially to go there – but it’s worth it! The vibe is relaxed and friendly. It’s not a place you’d get to get dressed up to attend, but a good hang-out for breakfast or lunch with friends on a weekend. They have a beautiful patio in the front and back of the restaurant. You can tell they really took the time to add some nice touches instead of just chair & tables outside. The interior is okay, but just regular black chairs and tables.
The service was absolutely great and everyone is very friendly. I was impressed how quickly our food was ready and it tasted great. Most of their menu items are made from waffles – ie. waffle covered bacon, waffle sandwiches, waffle boat etc. I had the western sandwich and it was amazing. Great flavour and instead of bread they used waffles. I was worried the waffles would make me feel stuffed, but they were light and fluffy. Their prices are great – a large orange juice was only $2 and my sandwich was $9!
They also have a great dessert menu filled with waffle creations. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and will be going again.

I really like the Joe Fresh Fine Liquid Eyeliner because it’s very easy to apply, inexpensive and long lasting. It’s a very fine point, which is great if you’re not handy applying eyeliner because it only deposits a small amount for each brush stroke. You can’t beat the price of $6, but I’ve come to realize that it’s sold out at most locations so you might have to try back a couple of times...but it’s worth the wait! It comes off easily with eye make-up remover or lots of water. I’d highly recommend this product to my friends. -
