I was recently introduced to Fresh on Spadina with a friend who is an avid fan of the restaurant. I was skeptical but I really enjoyed the meals that we had. I sampled the energy bowl and the buddha bowl but enjoyed the buddha bowl much better. I am a big meat person but I enjoyed Fresh for its vegetarian fare. I will definitely return to Fresh with vegetarian friends in the future. -

I received C.O Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm in my Christmas stocking this year and I have to say that I am very pleased with this product. This product is think and rich but does not leave a white residue like some other night lip balms do. I find it very moisturizing and I tend to use it during the day as well even though it says it is a night balm...especially on the cold dry days. I really recommend this product and will be buying it again soon! -

I recently tried La Revolucion in the Junction located at 2848 Dundas St West. I am not a huge fan of mexican food normally but thought I would try something new and I was pleasantly surprised at the food. I really enjoyed most of what I tried. I would only say that I was not overly impressed with the drink menu and selection and would have hoped that they had more 'authentic' drinks and selection of alcohol. In the back they had another room that I originally thought was a patio but turned out to be another bar area with tables and a stage for an open mic night which I enjoyed. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. I will probably try this place out again a little later down the road when it is more established. -

I had the pleasure of discovering the Kennedy Public House in Bloor West Village recently and I will be returning to this venue again for sure. The service is friendly although a bit disorganized at times when it has been filled with people. The food is yummy and the drinks are good. I really like the atmosphere of this place and adore the decor. I hope that it will continue to thrive in the neighbourhood as I feel it is just what the neighbourhood needed. :) -

I had Alba Botanical Shampoo recommended to me by a friend and I have to say that I am very pleased with this product. I have used the Gardenia Hair Wash and Conditioner which I purchased from Marshalls. This product is gentle on my hair and moisturizing as well. I have a lot of problems with dry and damaged hair in the winter months so I am careful to try products that are gentle on my hair and additionally add much needed moisture. I would highly recommend this product. -

I absolutely LOVE this product. My hair is damaged which only gets worse in the dry winter months and L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque successfully breathed life back into my lifeless hair. I tried several products to try and get my hair to no longer look like straw and this product really did the trick and helping it to retain moisture and look healthy again. I only wish I had taken a before and after pic that I could post! Buy this product! It's worth it and smells great too. :) -

I received L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair Shampoo from the Chickadvisor product review club. I found this product to be effective and gentle on my hair that at this time of the year is quite damaged and dry. In terms of repairing damage I am not sure if this product alone would have produced noticeable results but in combination with the hair masque it made my hair very soft and noticeably better looking. I would recommend this product but in conjunction with the hair masque for best results. -

I really like Emergen-C Vitamin Drink mix. I agree with some of the other reviewers about the taste of some of them but overall I find that the product does what it is supposed to do and therefore I will continue to use it. A friend of mine suggested using it after hot yoga as well because I used to get headaches after hot yoga. I find that Emergen-C Vitamin drink mix was good for this as well and helped me no longer get headaches post hot yoga. I am not sure why this works for this but it does. Overall I find this product effective and I would recommend it to friends. -

I was super excited to be selected to review the Oral B Pulsonic toothbrush as part of the product review club. I have owned other power toothbrushes in the past....both Oral B and other brands. I am very impressed with the Oral B Pulsonic toothbrush! This is by far the best power brush I have had the pleasure of using. I love that this product powerful enough to significantly remove surface stains from my teeth and make them look whiter. I also appreciate that it has settings for sensitive teeth and gum cleaning. I love the slim design of this toothbrush, I agree with other reviewers that the slim design makes it comfortable to hold and makes ease of use better than other power toothbrushes. I will highly recommend this product to friends and family! I am thoroughly impressed :) -
