I received a sample of Nexxus Pro-Mend Leave in Treatment in the mail along with the shampoo and conditioner in this line. I used all three products in sequence and have to say that I am very impressed with the results. It left my hair feeling softer, smoother and definitely more manageable. The tangles that I normally get from split ends were definitely minimized and my hair looks a lot healthier. I recommend this product and will now begin buying it. -

I received a sample of Nexxus Pro-Mend shampoo in the mail and promptly gave it a try. I have to say that I am very impressed with the results. It left my hair feeling soft and manageable. I had a lot of split ends and have an upcoming hair appointment but my hair has been getting knotted and tangled with the dead ends. This shampoo did the trick with softening it and smoothing it out. I am very impressed with this product. -

I was skeptical about this product not because I doubted that it would work but I did not know if it would hold up throughout the day. I am happy to report that it did hold up throughout the day and it did result in my hair feeling less greasy and this was the next best thing to properly washing it. I found this product useful for when you work out in the gym or in the winter when you were a tuque and it can leave your roots feeling greasy. The only thing I was not a huge fan of with this product is the smell. There is nothing exactly wrong with the smell it is just not for me. So while I found it effective, I don't know if I would use this as my dry shampoo of choice. -

I tried out a class at Moksha Yoga Bloor West using my Passport to Prana and had a great experience. Although I am as beginner as they come, I found this class easy to follow and the heated room helped me get the most out of the stretches. The pace of the class was great for beginners as well. I had Bob Pearson as as instructor and he was helpful and enthusiastic about yoga. I will definitely return to do yoga at Moksha Yoga Bloor West and I highly recommend it to anyone else in the area interested in hot yoga. -

I had dinner at Rocco's Plum Tomato at 164 the Queensway and really enjoyed my dinner. I had Rocco's salad (which has wonderful dehydrated vegatables within the salad for added texture and a surprise hit of taste) along with the scallop prawn goat cheese penne. I really enjoyed how the flavours in the dishes in this restaurant combine to create a very very tasty meal. The service was prompt and helpful and the decor is very eclectic and interesting. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. -

A friend of mine introduced me to the Sweet Gallery Cafe locate at 2312 Bloor Street West last week and I really really enjoyed it. This cafe has beautiful cakes, pastries, other baked goods and truffles in the counter window from you to choose from. You can then be seated at a table with chandeliers above that is very reminiscent of a parisian cafe in terms of atmosphere. The setting is very elegant and yet comfortable and I found the staff to be friendly an helpful. Sweet Gallery has two other locations in Toronto: 694 Mount Pleasant Rd. and 350 Bering Ave. Check this place out if you are looking for a place to have coffee or tea, you'll be glad you did :o)

I have recently become obsessed with trying to wear different eye makeup. I normally wear very little makeup and even less around my eyes but when I saw the color combination of the Bourjois Duochrome Eye Pencil in brun mordoré, I decided to give it a try...it is a combination of bronze and gold and I love the effect and intensity of this product. The cost of the eye pencil is a bit more than I am used to paying for a drug store brand but other than that I have no complaints. I will likely buy this product again. -

I go into Boulangerie Cocoa Patisserie almost daily. This cafe opened very close to my new home and I really enjoy their fresh baked goods and of course their Starbucks teas and coffees. Boulangerie Cocoa Patisserie are the suppliers of the baked goods to Starbucks (such as their scones and cupcakes) so they are able to also serve Starbucks coffee, tea and pasteries. Every single thing that I have tasted from this cafe has been YUMMY. I highly recommend it if you are ever in the area. YUM. -
