Although much more expensive that other baby stores, Lusso Baby features much trendier and higher end brands including Burberry! The clothing selection here is practically limitless and just adorable for mothers who want to dress their babies in the best. I also love the way the store is organized and laid out, very clean and well kept. Feels very reminiscent of a downtown boutique. However, this retailer does not only provide clothing and also has a large section of strollers, carseats, cribs, nursery decor, feeding, and bathing essentials available. You can even do your registry here if you would like. I found the staff here very knowledgable as well; the girl we worked with took the time to walk us around the store and explain every we might need as new parents when we were only expecting for three months at the time! Highly recommend checking this gem out! -

My current favourite treat at Starbucks. Love the very evident lemon flavour of this square and find that it suits my almond milk cappuccino perfectly. Although fluffy like you would expect in a pastry, the lemon flavour gives it a nice light finish that doesn't leave your feeling bloated after you've finished your breakfast or mid-afternoon snack. The icing on top of the square is also not too much (I've found) but if you'd like to avoid extra sugar intake, can be easily removed with one quick motion or a plastic knife. Glad my sister introduced me to this one! Highly recommend trying this affordable and delicious treat on your next visit to Starbucks! -

My favourite Chinese food in the Lower Mainland! This restaurant is located on St. John's Street in Port Moody and although parking at the front can sometimes be tricky, there is ample room in the back; be warned though, there are about 20 stairs you'll have to head up in order to enter the restaurant from the back. The spicy salty squids here are both my husband and I's personal favourite dish here alongside the beef with green beens in black bean sauce and chow mein. Although we're both sure this is definitely not the healthiest option for lunch, its a great treat every now and then that is full of flavour (and probably enhanced with a lot of MSG!!) and offers a fantastic special during the weekdays (until 3pm) where you can get full sized portions for about 60% of the regular price; there is also free wonton or hot and sour (my personal favourite) soup included during this weekday special. The best place to go or order takeout from when you're craving Chinese food in the Tricities! -

This is my favourite Artigiano location. Slightly larger than the Hastings location and in the heart of downtown. Love to stop in with my family or sister after a fun day of shopping in Downtown Vancouver! Great selection of very tasty pastries and makers of the best Soy Chai Latte in the Lower Mainland. The service is normally very good as well and the staff are attentive to your order; I've only had two mix ups in the past in which they were quick to remake my order. They make a great fruit square that is worth the trip here as well; actually more fruity than pastry like, although very similar to a traditional Slovak baked good my mother in law makes! Highly recommend stopping into this Burrard location during a trip downtown. -

Pretty good product overall, although the ingredients are more synthetic than I would have liked. -

Absolutely love this shade of Star Powder! Such a natural and beautiful colour that compliments nearly any look. I wore this on my wedding day and absolutely loved the flawless radiance it added to my shadow application. Have always been a huge fan of pigments and this one is actually even more of a favourite than MAC's, which is my personal gold standard - the container is more user friendly and you don't loose as much product during application. Highly recommend using a flat square brush when applying to minimize fall out. Highly recommend this colour for its super versatility! Love it! -

Love these delicious dried figs! Super convenient to purchase anytime as well as they are always available at Costco. So much flavour and super soft rather than chewy! These organic dried figs are also packed with nutrition and are excellent eaten with almond butter on toast or in a smoothie bowl. Love to snack on this delicious and healthy snack anytime of the day. Highly recommend picking up a bag of these on your next Costco trip. -

The curler is perfect for my large wide eyes and captures every lash to leave an all day curl! Fantastic for use before mascara application and after waiting a few minutes for your product to dry; very high impact that leaves you with show stopping lashes! Highly recommend trying the tarte eyelash curler, especially if you have large "textbook" eyes. Absolutely worth every penny! -

Perfect for both eye liners and thick crayon like lip pencils made by the NARS line. Has an excellent little compartment for sharpening that can hold quite a bit of sharpenings before you need to toss it as well - makes it very convenient when you want to prep your kit for next day or later use! Very solid and sturdy. Highly recommend purchasing this item! -

The handle also provides a very sturdy grip for rounded motions. Excellent blending and buffing brush! One of my favourite items in my personal kit! -
