My favourite Chinese food in the Lower Mainland! This restaurant is located on St. John's Street in Port Moody and although parking at the front can sometimes be tricky, there is ample room in the back; be warned though, there are about 20 stairs you'll have to head up in order to enter the restaurant from the back. The spicy salty squids here are both my husband and I's personal favourite dish here alongside the beef with green beens in black bean sauce and chow mein. Although we're both sure this is definitely not the healthiest option for lunch, its a great treat every now and then that is full of flavour (and probably enhanced with a lot of MSG!!) and offers a fantastic special during the weekdays (until 3pm) where you can get full sized portions for about 60% of the regular price; there is also free wonton or hot and sour (my personal favourite) soup included during this weekday special. The best place to go or order takeout from when you're craving Chinese food in the Tricities!
