SaltWinds Kraken’s Blend Extra Strong Dark Roast has quickly become one of my go-to coffees when I need a serious caffeine kick without sacrificing flavour. As someone who loves a bold, rich coffee but dislikes anything overly bitter, this blend strikes the perfect balance. From the moment I opened the bag, I was hooked the deep, toasty aroma with hints of dark chocolate and roasted nuts instantly made me excited for my first cup.
Brewing it was an experience in itself. Whether I used my French press or espresso machine, the result was always a smooth, full-bodied coffee with a satisfying depth. The caffeine boost is no jokes it keeps me energized and focused without the jitters, which is exactly what I need on long, busy days.
I also have to give a nod to the packaging. The maritime-inspired design is sleek, and the resealable bag keeps the beans fresh, which I really appreciate. It feels like a premium product from start to finish.
Overall, Kraken’s Blend delivers on everything I want in a dark roast: bold glad flavour, smooth drinkability, and a powerful but steady energy boost. If you love strong coffee with character, this one is definitely worth trying.

I recently added PanOxyl Acne Banishing Body Spray to my gym bag, and it’s quickly become an essential. With all the sweating from workouts, I started noticing more breakouts on my back and shoulders, and I needed something easy to apply that actually works. This spray has been a game-changer.
First off, the 360-degree nozzle is a lifesaver—it makes it super easy to reach my back without any awkward twisting. The 2% salicylic acid helps unclog pores and reduce breakouts fast. I’ve been using it post-workout, and within a couple of weeks, I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in both new and existing acne. It dries quickly too, so I don’t have to wait around before getting dressed.
The only downside? The scent is a bit strong, kind of like a floral body spray, which I wasn’t expecting. It fades after a while, but if you’re sensitive to fragrances, it might be something to consider. Also, since it’s a chemical exfoliant, I’ve been careful not to overuse it—about 3-4 times a week seems to be the sweet spot for me.

It’s a great balance of flavor—tangy, garlicky dill paired with just enough heat to make it exciting but not unbearable. If you like a little spice with your pickle chips, this is perfect.
The texture of the chips is also fantastic. They’re kettle-cooked, so you get that extra crunch with each bite, and I really appreciate how they’re not greasy. Right away, I noticed the difference from regular salt and vinegar chips—these have a bold tang but not in an overpowering, make-your-mouth-burn kind of way. The vinegar hits just right, balanced with the perfect amount of salt to keep things from being too intense.
The texture is another big win for me. Since these are kettle-cooked, they’re extra crunchy without feeling greasy, and you can tell they’re made with quality ingredients. I love that they don’t have any artificial additives or weird aftertaste—just pure, delicious flavor.
What really surprised me was how addictive they are. I planned on just having a handful, but before I knew it, I was reaching back into the bag again and again. (Oops.) They’re especially great as a side with a sandwich, but honestly, I could snack on them anytime.

I’ve tried a lot of different acne patches over the years, so I was really curious to see how the PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches would compare. Right away, I liked that they’re thin, clear, and barely noticeable once applied. I’ve used some patches before that feel thick or peel off too easily, but these actually stay put—even if I toss and turn at night.
The biggest win for me was how effective they are. I had a stubborn, inflamed pimple and put one of these patches on before bed. By the morning, it had pulled out a lot of gunk (gross but satisfying), and the spot looked noticeably flatter and less red. I’ve also used them on whiteheads, and they absorb everything overnight, making pimples way easier to deal with.
One thing to note is that these patches work best on surface-level pimples rather than deep, cystic acne. If you’re dealing with those painful under-the-skin breakouts, these might not do much. But for regular pimples, they’re a lifesaver—especially if you tend to pick at your skin like I do.
Overall, I’m really impressed with these spot patches. They work just as well as some of the pricier brands I’ve tried, and they’re great for reducing redness and speeding up healing. Definitely a new skincare staple for me!
