Today I am reviewing Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Essential Oil, Patch Perfect Hydrocolloid Patches.
This is the companies 50-year anniversary – Thursday Plantation is the Original Tea Tree Oil, born 50 years ago on a Thursday, so I thought it was only fitting to post this today.
Immediately I could smell the tea tree oil when I opened this package. My immediate thought was “oh these are going to be good”. Although these patches are thicker than other patches I have tried making them a bit more visible, they were quite strong and easy to apply.
I put them on a couple early forming pimples as well as a scratched pimple, and an insect bite on my wrist that was driving me crazy. The results were faster than I expected. I was able to sleep with them over night without issue. I even showered with the one on my wrist and it stayed on well keeping the area clean and dry. I never considered putting these patches on my insect bites before, but with the infused tea tree oil I thought it would be beneficial. It prevented me from scratching, and helped heal the abscess reaction.
Overall I thought it was a good product.

When reviewing this product I didn’t have a white headed pastule type pimple to test it on, but did have a papule (raised red bump), which may be why this product wasn’t as effective for me. I found in the first few days it was drawing out some of the pimple as their was a white spot left on the sticker when I peeled it off, but by the end of the week the white spot stopped showing and the red mark continued to remain unchanged. I have used panicky products before with success, so it’s possible that this product is not intended for this type of pimple.
I will say wearing all day was mostly fine. The sticker is thin and not super noticeable. As for wearing all day under makeup, I have to give it a thumbs down. I tried wearing it under foundation, however this just highlighted the sticker more.
Also if you tan easily as I do, I started to notice a tan line forming from wearing in the day time now that the summer sun is out. So I would be mindful of that as well if you will be outside for prolonged periods of the day.
I’m open to trying it again on a more pronounced pimple when one forms, but I didn’t have one for the time period of making this review.

My daughter was so excited to try these Ferrero Rocher chocolate square samples we got in the mail.
These are delicious. If you like the classic Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls, you will love these. It has that classic taste but in a convenient flat square. The texture is fantastic, the chocolate is smooth. We both agreed if we had to pick a favourite flavour we would pick the classic milk chocolate, but as we both love white chocolate would get that one as a special treat. We aren’t big fans of dark chocolate but were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Although it wasn’t our first pick wouldn’t turn it down.
We actually gave a bag of these to one of my child’s old teachers for teacher appreciation day. It was a great little thank you treat.

Zinc is something I have always taken as part of my vitamin intake and/or to aid in my immune system as needed. I was given a bottle of zinc-copper balance by AOR to try in exchange for my review.
I like the tiny blue capsules. They were easy to swallow not to mention cute and different, so I can’t mix them up with any of my other medications. As a chronically ill person these small things do make a difference.
In taking zinc in the past I didn’t consider the impact it was having on my copper levels. This product is a balanced ratio of two key minerals.

I was sent a tube of @myoflexrelief to try through @thisisbutterly . It was good timing as after the Christmas rush, I am left feeling exhausted and sore. Being chronically ill getting out of bed after exciting days can be a lot of work.
They claim: Provides relief of aches and pains of muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments usually occurring from sport activities such as running, swimming, biking, and contact sports. (Or in my case standing for long periods, staying up late wrapping gifts, socializing in other peoples homes and generally moving my body).
There was no strong order (barely a smell at all), and it rubbed it very smoothly with no greasy left over feeling & no pilling. It massaged in quickly and easily. If you are looking for the menthol cooling sensation that some rubs will add, you will not get that from this, but it means you can use it before going out when needed without that strong smell coming off of you. Over all I enjoyed this product.

Trying out Swiss Natural Total One® Multi Vitamin and Mineral for Women!
The have an organic smell. So not wonderful but not bad. The pills are large, so if you struggle to take large pills, these may not be for you. I’m used to taking multiple pills at once, so I didn’t have a hard time.
I’m familiar with the Swiss brand and have always had a positive experience. So this “Total” multivitamin fits what I was looking for in an all encompassing vitamin.
I don’t see why you couldn’t take these over 50, but as per usual ask your doctor. Maybe when you turn 50, the paper under the cap never comes off 🫢j/k.
I am happy with this product.

Both squares (7” & 4.5”) are sturdy and have clear, accurate measurements and degree markers. Perfect as a marking gauge. They are made of aluminum, and because of the weight and strength, it can be used to set your blade prior to sawing. The black colour actually comes in handy in making notes on the tool itself in white or regular pencil when needed.
I feel like a simple tool like this is hard to go wrong. Definitely a benefit to any tool box.

I haven’t tried it long enough to determine the effectiveness of the whitening, however as a mouth wash it works very well. I can see why it is the fastest growing mouthwash.

It was a bit of a learning curve at first, understanding the positioning and getting the right fit of the bracelet (making them much too loose to start). We wasted a couple strings the first 2 times when the brackets didn’t connect to the string and we had to figure out what we did wrong, but once we got the hang of it, it was pretty easy and my 9 year old was making them by herself the moment she woke up the next morning.
I do appreciate everything comes in resealable bags. The machine itself isn’t too big. I would prefer it was detachable though for storage.
My daughter is excited to take it to her friends house to showcase it and make bracelets together, so I would say it’s a win.
