The first 2 modes I tried with my regular facial cleaner, and then tested the last 2 modes using my face cream after. My face felt amazing. It was relaxing and my face felt so soft after! -

I am not new to dry shampoo. It’s a product I have used in the past, but having gone to school for gerontology and having cared for sick family members I was familiar with using it on the chronically ill and/or elderly when washing hair wasn’t always possible. Being introduced to Batiste’s dry shampoo as an “every day” product is really a game changer, especially being chronically ill now myself as well as a mom who doesn’t always have the time or energy. I also have a kid who gets car sick, so I often carry this with me on long car rides just in case her hair ends up getting dirty and baby wipes are our only option for cleaning. This falls under my just good to have products. -

Trying for the first time Covergirls simply ageless lash plumping mascara which promises thicker, longer and stronger looking lashes in 4 weeks.
I have heard from other moms that they often only wear mascara to appear more “awake” when they aren’t in a position to do their full makeup routine. And as someone who has NO makeup routine I thought, sure let’s see what this does.
I can’t speak to the effects of the serum, as this is the first time I am trying this mascara, but for one day use it was alright. Photos on the left are my natural eyes, no makeup, no eye lash curling. And photos on the right are with JUST the Covergirl mascara. I wanted to see how it faired without the touch up or bling of other product or style. The first thing I noticed, the brush is really fluffy! Really big. I have fairly small eyes, so I did have a hard time with such a fat brush getting into the corners of my eyes and avoiding contact with my eye lid. It did however give me a bit of a natural looking curl without my eyelash curler. My daughter noticed it immediately (my husband did not 😂, he’s usually pretty observant).
This was not a waterproof mascara however it is available. That being said, I did try out and take a walk on one of our very humid 30 degrees (C) days, and it faired well. It stayed dry and didn’t drip down my face like my forehead sweat did. It did not fair well to me forgetting about it and falling asleep later 🤣 (husband noticed it then!).

It comes with a pipette dropper vs the regular dropper bottle, so no more waiting for what feels like forever for 1 (or suddenly multiple drops) to fall out. They have an orange flavour, or as my daughter says “tastes like orange peels”, which is very accurate having tried them myself. Considering she has been reminding me to take them every day, I don’t think she’s too upset by the taste.
A beneficial part of our daily routine.

We had the opportunity to try out this Harry Potter Wizarding World Divination Tea Set by @spinmaster ! So to say my kid was excited was an understatement. She LOVES Harry Potter and everything Harry Potter. She couldn’t wait to tear into this.
You fill it with ice water and the cups show you your future (in the form of a heart, sun, or the grim!) it was very cute and a lot of fun. As a kid she loved it. She could pour and pretend all day. You have to make sure to use ice water or the image doesn’t show up in the same way with just very cold water (we made that mistake the first time).
As parents we just thought it was okay. The quality isn’t amazing (especially the crystal ball), but it’s for ages 6 and up so you can’t usually expect more than light plastic.
Included was 1 tea pot, 3 cups, 3 plates and a crystal ball. We appreciated the little detail like the elephant stand for the ball which is reminiscent to the movie.

My daughter loves these Bakugan toys! This was a great starter set coming with a variety of figures, cards and cores. I found this set to be a bit stronger feeling and easier to collapse compared to the last one we received. The Cimoga was our favourite and most satisfying to roll and watch pop opened. The Nanogan is NOT spring loaded or magnetic (you need to be more careful when transforming it so not to break it), but they are so cute! They also have a peg that fits into your Bakugan so they can carry the nanogan around like a little baby lol. At least that’s what I am picturing them doing.
This is a great set to add to or start your collection.

This product has excellent reviews, so I really wanted to like it. As a generic moisturizer, it does work. It does have a nice texture, it’s much thinner than many moisturizers and goes on very light. It doesn’t do anything "extra" like some other products do. My biggest complaint is the scent. When I think "clean fresh skin care", I think fragrance-free. This product is so highly perfumed I didn’t even want to put it on to test it. Many people with chronic illness have chemical sensitivities, and this would be a product to avoid (or avoid being near anyone who uses it). Sadly this is not a product I would recommend, as being surrounded by this smell by anyone I knew would be more than off putting. It will trigger migraine in people who struggle with strong smells. -
