I love using products with shea butter in it to moisturize my post-menopausal dry skin. I never knew that pure shea butter even existed until I tried Cleopatra’s Choice Pure Shea Butter. I received a full pound in my order. I found that it was better for me to use it at night before I go to bed. Shea butter uses vitamins A, E, and F and doesn’t clog pores.
Cleopatra’s Choice uses Grade A, Fair Trade, and sustainably farmed Ghana, African shea nut butter. It’s 100% pure, natural, unrefined, and organic. They offer both ivory and yellow shea butters. I used the ivory shea butter.
Shea butter softens my feet in between pedicures and keeps them looking spa fresh. It moisturizes my hands so that they look youthful. My dry skin problem spot is my hips and shea butter keeps them itch-free. I was able to use it on my sun burn so that my skin didn’t peel and dry out after staying in the sun too long.

But, saying those things, I will tell you about my experience. After taking it for about four days, I had heart palpitations and anxiety. Thinking that I was just nervous about leaving my husband for a week while I was visiting my best friend, I stopped taking it and resumed taking it again at her house. Within a day, the same heart palpitations and anxiety returned. Once I stopped taking it, the symptoms were gone the next day.
While I was excited to perhaps be able to be in the sun a little more without the added sun damage, Heliocare is not going to work for me. I would advise anyone considering this or any other supplement to know what the potential side-effects are so that you can stop taking it should you have a reaction to it like I did.

I’m going to be perfectly honest and say that I was very skeptical when I opened my package and saw the Exfolimate product. But, I was judging a book by its cover, which is wrong, so I used it.
The first time I tried Exfolimate, I used it on my legs. The leash attached is used to prevent you from dropping it. I tend to break out on the back of my legs, so it was a good place to start. I noticed that my legs felt smoother and my break-outs haven’t been as bad.
Next, I tried it on my face and neck. You definitely need to be gentler on your face than on other parts of your body so that you don’t leave marks or damage the tender skin. When I was using Exfolimate on my chin, it gently scraped away a blemish that was starting to appear without me inappropriately squeezing it open.

My Konjac Sponge (click link to purchase) came as a hard sponge. After submerging it in water for just a few seconds, it softened and became almost gelatin-like. Honestly, it feels like a sea cucumber when it’s wet. It was a little weird feeling.
This all-natural and biodegradable fiber sponge with bamboo charcoal is great for cleansing, exfoliating, and revitalizing your acne-prone and oily skin.

I have a love-hate relationship with my skin. I want to love it, but the coloring makes me hate it.
I’ve been told it’s sun damage and it will go away when I stop getting sun. But that didn’t work. I’ve been told it’s due to hormones, but after a hysterectomy and a year with no estrogen, that didn’t work either. I’m sure some of it is scarring, but that’s not causing the brown spots.
I’ve gotten advise from other women who have had professional chemical peels, but I’m afraid to use something so harsh on my face and they cost a lot of money if you want to go to a reputable doctor. So, I haven’t done anything about it. That is until I got this opportunity.
I used the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Peel every night after I had washed my face with the Neutrogena bar soap. Every morning, after I washed my face with the Neutrogena soap, I used Neoteric Cosmetics’ Alpha-Hydrox Enhanced Cream 10% Glycolic AHA Anti-wrinkle before I put on my makeup. I can match up the patching from the before photo to the patching on the after photo.
It’s my opinion that the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Peel DOES NOT do what it advertises. I will continue to use my bottle because I have so much left and I will correct this statement should I be proven wrong, but I would not spend the money on product that doesn’t deliver.
