I really wanted to like this product, and have been using it as a toner/essence in my daily skincare regime twice a day, but I cannot honestly say I have noticed much of a difference. For the price, it is most definitely worth investing in something with more concentrated ingredients. Vitamin C in particular is unstable when exposed to UV light and breaks down very quickly, losing its effectiveness, in which case the clear packaging, though tinted, is less than ideal. Unfortunately, I did not know this, upon buying it. -

Unlike many other products that contain activated charcoal, this does not irritate or excessively dry out my skin. I've been using it as step 2 in my daily double-cleansing routine, and it has been working beautifully. Recommended to anyone with oily/acne prone skin! -

I was very pleased at how clean my skin felt after using it, and enjoyed it so much I tried to stretch the mini sample for about 4 days to get the most use out of it! Definitely a winner if you have oily/acne prone skin and are into single-step cleansing and not double-cleansing. Sad that FAB is not cruelty-free, so I can't purchase this. -

Weather wearing it alone or under make-up, even on cooler days when it was not humid, I did not find that this mattifying gel left me very matte at all. Oil still showed through my make-up, and without make-up, I was still very shiny throughout the day. -

Though I've looked and looked, there doesn't seem to be a product that quite compares to this spot treatment. Since it contains the highest legal amount of sulfur, I have noticed that my blemishes disappear quickly when applying it at night, and even faster if I also spot-treat during the day! Just a shame that it is not more wearable during the day when you are out and about, due to the opaque, pink texture. -

Since it is basically like a chapstick formula, I also wasn't fond of having to drag it across my skin, since that can cause premature wrinkles. -

I received this as a sample at Sephora, and having oily skin, I was afraid that it might break me out. Not only did it not do that, but it left a non-greasy, and long lasting hydration to my skin. Very gentle, and would recommend for all skin types!
