As soon as I saw this on the BH Cosmetics website, I knew I HAD to buy it! I loved the Galaxy Chic and the Supernova eyeshadow palettes, and since this fits the theme AND caters to my colour preferences, it was a MUST in my ever-growing collection. When I finally got it in the mail, I was far from disappointed. The shades are SO pigmented, and the palette even features some duochrome hues that look gorgeous! If you are a fan of bright, fiery warm colours, then this is the palette for you (and at SUCH an affordable price!). Or, if you have either the Galaxy Chic or the Supernova palettes, then this complements them well. BH Cosmetics has definitely achieved Sephora quality for drugstore prices! -

I got this as a free gift with a BH Cosmetics order I put in with the company. Honestly, I am blown away by the versatility of this little 6-colour palette; it has enough warm tones and neutral colours to pull off an everyday look, but throws in some fuschia and royal purple if you want to kick things up a notch and be dramatic. LOVE the pigmentation, as usual. I can see myself throwing this in my purse and making good use of it when I'm traveling so I don't need to worry about packing any of my large palettes! -

I've been on the hunt for a new eyelash curler, and since I adore Tweezerman's tweezers, I decided to give this a try. I purchased the compact version with the handles that fold down for easy packing, and I must say I find it difficult to grasp the handles and get a good hold on my lashes because of this. So far, I don't find that they have done anything differently than any other lash curler I've owned, but they're no worse than any I've owned either. Maybe with practice I'll master whatever technique they're require, haha. -

I hate writing reviews for products that work so well but don't happen to be cruelty-free, but alas, this darn mud mask worked way too perfectly for me to keep silent about it. I got it as a sample from Sephora, and the actual product is apparently insanely expensive, but there is a lot of hype around this mask, and since I didn't pay for the sample, I gave it a try on a whim. I am both amazed and appalled at how well it worked. I couldn't find ANY blackheads on my nose when I washed the mask away, and I was SO hoping it wouldn't work so that I don't feel like I'm missing out. But I can't lie--it worked. It worked damn well. Now I'm going to go cry in the corner. -

I purchased this to add a little more concentrated ingredients to my cleansers and serums, knowing that jojoba oil is safe and effective for acne prone skin. I already love and trust the Desert Essence brand, so this was really a no brainer. The oil is not sticky at all, and doesn't leave me feeling greasy; all in all, a good buy! -

My skin is so stubborn that I end up using my 10% glycolic acid peel from Nip+Fab as a spot treatment at night; but for the real deal peel, I am happy to have found this product by Oz naturals. Since it is considered a medium strength peel, you do need to be careful when you apply; don't get it in your eyes, and you MUST neutralize the acid with a mixture of baking soda and water when you're done. Your skin might feel sensitive that evening, but in the morning, the results are amazing! My skin has never looked so smooth in texture and clear. Just be sure to wear sunscreen the next day, since you'll be super prone to burning! -

I've been using benzoyl peroxide as spot treatment for my acne for as long as I can remember. It is one of the only over the counter treatments that works, but ever since I went cruelty-free, I haven't been able to find a treatment that contains BP. The only one I was aware of was from acne.org, but it only contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. Unfortunately, my acne is too stubborn for such a low dose, so imagine how excited I was when I came across this product by Create Cosmetics, a small, independent company, when they replied to my inquiries informing me that they ARE cruelty-free! I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and my blemishes are disappearing a lot more quickly than before. 100% recommend, if you can tolerate high percentage benzoyl peroxide! -

I was so happy to find this. It really is a dupe for the Ole Henriksen gel cleanser, which I do adore, but frankly is too pricey for something that is sitting on your skin for less than a minute, only to be washed off. This product works the exact same way, going on as a gel, melting into an oil, and the turning into a non-greasy milk when you apply water. And, only a fraction of the price of it's Sephora counterpart! -

I was looking for a contour palette, and a worker at Sephora suggested this palette to me, because it was the best bang for your buck in the store. Honestly, I have nothing against it; the contour shade the farthest to the left works really well with my skin tone, and the complementing highlight shade works well against the shade. My only complaint is that I really don't use the 4 other shades. Still debating whether I will repurchase when the shades I use run out, since it seems like a waste that they'll go unused. -

This is a salicylic acid-based treatment, and SA alone has not done much for my acne. However, it does serve as a good overnight insurance to keep your pores unclogged, and can help clarifying masks work better if applied and left on for a few minutes before applying the mask. Might not clear up your breakout, if your acne is stubborn like mine, but can still be useful in your acne treatment regime. -
