There were no testers, so I went on my faith, but unfortunately, even the lightest colour is a little too dark and yellow for my skin tone. I could have returned it, but I'd already opened it, and I'm considering just using it as an eyeshadow. -

I can't remember when it was that I purchased it, but I've used this concealer stick for years to cover up my blemishes underneath my foundation. The formula is just a little thick, so I find you need to blend it out over especially large blemishes, but it doesn't aggravate my acne. Not idea for large spaces that require red coverage, but I always keep this in my purse, just in case! Also works great for underneath my eyes to conceal eye dark circles beneath my foundation. -

The liners last me quite a long time, given their generous length, and it applies so smooth, I couldn't fathom paying more for a product that would offer the same quality. I don't mind experimenting with other brands, but I would be hard pressed to not keep this in my repertoire! -

This comes with a lip liner on one end, and a lip brush on the other. Great value for a 2-in-1 product, if I didn't receive it as a gift, I'd have bought it myself on discovering it! I enjoy that this is a pencil, so that it can be sharpened, as opposed to the twist-up lipliners that always tend to remain kind of blunt. I bought the shade Nude Attitude to line my lips and prevent lip colous from feathering, and while it's no 'miracle' item, it does the job. Nothing wrong with it, and will continue to repurchase! -

However, I LOVE the formula. It is very silky, applies nicely and evenly, and while it's not as longlasting as other matte lipsticks, you can't beat e.l.f's super competitive prices! I will definitely be looking into more colours in this line in the future. -

I love LUSH, and purchased this was high expectations, especially since they launched their cosmetics line. Sadly, as much as I absolutely adore this bright coral-red shade, I find that unless you keep it in your pocket tow arm it up for a while, it applies like a sticky wax, and comes out very streaky on your lips. Not to mention it will come off the first time you take a sip from a glass. Love LUSH, just not this particular product. -

I used to hate purchasing oil blotting sheets, despite that my oily skin needs it so much, because they tend to be so expensive and get used up so quickly. Imagine how excited I was to find that e.l.f had their own blotting sheets--and for just a dollar for a 50 sheet pack! I still tend to use them rather sparingly, and only in situations when I really need it, but I don't fret so much about going through a pack, knowing how cheap they are. I usually buy about 5 packs at a time online, and they last me a good long while! 100% recommend. -

I'm very loyal to my go-to liquid lipstick brand, which happens to be the KVD line, mostly for their vast array of funky colours. But I decided to try Stila on a whim, since they are now considered cruelty-free, and I must say, I'm impressed! I bought the shades fiery and patina, and both apply very satiny without overly drying my lips. They do fade a bit if you eat oily food with them, but that can be said about most liquid lipsticks. Going to keep an eye on this brand in case they release any more colours that catch my eye! -

I received this as a birthday gift from Sephora along with a blush, and while I realize both shades should probably go together (and I get why they send the 'Birthday Suit' shade), the colour of the lip paint didn't work for me. I'm sure they have other colours that are fine, but I am a tried and true fan of the KVD liquid lipstick line, so unless they came out with some crazy colours that you couldn't find anywhere else, I probably wouldn't repurchase. -
