I am a lip balm addict, and with good reason. My lips are extremely dry, and crack very easily. I try hard to take care of them, and try to do so with the best ingredients possible. I really loved Weleda Skin Food Lip Butter, though there were a few things I wasn't expecting about the product. I enjoyed the application, the beautiful feel of the product, the wonderful honey scent and taste, and how nourished it made my lips feel. I would not however call it a butter, it's much thinner than that, and much more liquid. And as I discovered, if you carry it in your pocket all day, expect almost complete liquid when you try to use it. It will work, but it will be messy. There's also alcohol in it, and I don't know why, nor if it's a good type of alcohol, or a drying type, as I can't find the information. At the end of the day though, the lip butter works well and is overall pleasant to use, and that makes it something I would repurchase and recommend -

I bought a discovery set where you get a number of samples and can get the full size of the one you prefer. I had a couple of full-sizes of the lot already, so I chose Burberry Her as a bit of a complement to my collection. It's a fruity sweet fragrance that's not especially layered, but that's nice and bright and that if not over used is perfect to wear in all company. I wasn't expecting to love the full-size quite as much as I do, and I find myself reaching for the bottle almost all the time when getting ready to go out. It's also a perfect mood lifter. I appreciate that it's light and fresh, and as someone who can be scent sensitive, a light spritz works perfectly for me. -

Campbell's Chunky Pepper Steak and Potato was a new type of canned soup for my family and I. We really enjoyed seeing large chunks of steak that were still toothsome yet not tough, and flavorful. The potatoes also had the perfect texture for soup. The soup base was rich, and slightly thick. It's flavor was comforting, perfect for all palates. My one quibble is that I detected no pepper or pepper steak flavor, this was a very good beef and potato soup, but not pepper steak soup. -

Hazelnut or chocolate spread was a treat my grandmother used to give me all year on matzo. It's a comfort treat for me now, but not one I indulge in too often as I tend to find these types of spreads too sweet and somewhat greasy. This makes me sad though, as I miss the memories and closeness the treat brought me to my late grandmother.
I love Kraft products, so I jumped at the chance to try Kraft Hazelnut Spread. I was hoping that they would have the perfect balance between taste, spread ability, sweetness and flavor. I scraped every last bit of the spread from the sample I was sent onto my matzo, and I was not disappointed! The flavor is rich and slightly earthy, and while it's definitely sweet, it's not overly so. The balance is right. It spreads nicely too, and the texture is good, creamy and not runny like some other spreads of this nature can get. I hadn't tried my sample as soon as I got it as I was waiting for some decent weather to try to take photos, and I noticed that there was no sign of separation in the spread, another big plus!
I'm going to get myself a full jar, I want my comfort treat back again. I need to find out if this is Kosher for Passover too!

Dove undoubtedly makes some of the best dry spray antiperspirants. When I first discovered them, they were a complete revelation and changed my world. They apply quickly and easily, dry in seconds, and feel light as air yet leave my skin feeling good all day long. I have no irritation from the product itself, and when it comes time to wash it off, unlike some more conventional stick products, there is no gunk that almost has to be scraped or exfoliated off, a gentle scrub does the job, meaning less irritation again.
Dove Dry Spray also addresses one of my biggest pet peeves - white marks! With Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirants there are no white marks, no stiff armholes, no ruined clothes, no matter how dark or delicate the fabric.
The Limited Edition Caring Coconut scent is wonderful, a sparkling, happy fragrance perfect for warm summer days, but I imagine it would also be the perfect pick me up for colder times as well. The scent is present, yet delicate. I can be scent sensitive and I don't find it overwhelming. It hits just right to me.
This is definitely a product I recommend, and one I intend to stock up on!

Tetley Earl Grey Vanilla is absolutely heavenly. I made the tea for the first time the night I bought it, as a way to relax after a long day and I just sat there with my eyes closed sipping in bliss. I found that I preferred the tea with some milk and no sugar, to me it's perfect just like that, with the bag left in almost like chai. Ever since, I've been going through the tea bags like crazy and I think I will need to stock up again soon.
The taste of the tea is both rich and mellow, with the depth of orange pekoe and the smoothness of vanilla and a hint of bergamot that keeps the tea from being too much like dessert. I love it on its own at the end of the night, paired with breakfast as a nice way to face the day, or as a way to help relax/destress/pick me up as needed.
I recommend this tea to everyone!

I have been using Retinol and Retinol-alternative products for some time, so I felt confident that my skin could handle the MAX version of Regenerist Retinol. My skin type is dry, very dry in the winter, and it can sometimes be sensitive if I am not careful. When I started using this moisturizer I followed the recommended instructions of using it nightly and found that it was a bit too much for my skin. However, once every two nights is the perfect routine. My skin is noticeably brighter and darker spots, or holdovers from where I had some hormonal breakouts are fading very fast. A little of the cream also goes a long way, and I don't feel like I need to layer moisturizers at night like I often do. While the cream feels sumptuous, it does not feel overly rich and has a matte finish. The moisturizer is fragrance-free and I really appreciate that feature.
The MAX Night Moisturizer has a great ingredient list and also has a great list of irritants that it does NOT contain, making the cream a very enjoyable experience for anyone with sensitivities. For people unused to retinol products, I would recommend easing into the cream as it contains 20% more of Olay's Retinol formula then their base cream, which itself could be sensitizing for anyone completely new to the ingredient. But it's a wonderful product when you find the right rhythm to incorporate it into your routine, and a great night moisturizer overall.

Hyaluronic Acid is one of my top 3 favorite skincare ingredients. I actively look for it in products and if I can find it in beauty products as well as skincare, I am a very happy person. So when I had a chance to test L'Oréal's Revitalift Plumping Gel Wash, whose main ingredient is Hyaluronic Acid, I was beyond excited.
The Gel Wash is meant to hydrate, smooth and clarify the skin, offering anti-aging benefits. L'Oréal offers direct commitments on the product packaging of having done extensive testing and that the wash is suitable for sensitive skin.
Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations, nor did I experience these great benefits. I tried the wash multiple times, and each time my face came away very red, swollen and sensitized. I tried the Plumping Gel wash both as a second cleanse and on its own with the same results. I am very used to Hyaluronic Acid, and none of the other ingredients are new to me either. It feels as if something is very highly concentrated in the formula, to a degree that I don't recommend this wash to people with dry or sensitive skin. It did clean my skin and rinse off well, but due to the effects I experienced I had none of the other promised benefits.
I am disappointed as I have tried and much enjoyed other L'Oréal Revitalift products. My friend also tried this product and loved it with great results, so it shows that it could be a great quality product, but not really be meant for all skin types.

I was intrigued when I heard about a new line called C'Est Moi at Walmart.
C'Est Moi is a brand aimed at those with young, delicate or blemish-prone skin. I am not in the targeted demographic, but a good skincare product aimed at that type of skin should suit my skin type as well, if used appropriately. The Clarify Cleansing Scrub is stated as being formulated without fragrance, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, propylene glycol or dyes, and none appear in the ingredient list, which contains some decent ingredients for the price point and nothing harsh.
This is a physical exfoliant, but I didn't find it irritating at all. It actually felt rather nice, though the exfoliant bits did take a little effort to rinse off. I did apply it gently, and given my dry skin I did not use it as frequently as suggested. My skin felt soft and smooth after use, with no redness or discomfort. There was a light ingredient-based scent. I normally prefer chemical exfoliants, or at most physical exfoliants for the face that dissolve with water so I was very pleasantly surprised.
If someone really wanted to use a non-dissolving physical exfoliant on their face, this would be one I would feel comfortable recommending.
