I have what most consider to be type 3B curly hair, and I often struggle to find hair products that strike the right balance between taking care of thick, curly and dry hair that can easily get damaged, and ensuring shine, bounce, life and health to my curls. I don't want something to hydrate and moisturize but leave my hair looking flat and greasy, nor do I want my hair to look like shiny ringlets but be crunchy or feel like unmanageable straw. The search has been lifelong.
I have tried Shea Moisture products before, and they have been good, but I think the Papaya & Neroli All Day Frizz Control line is really striking all the right notes for my hair.
I really like the Papaya & Neroli All Day Frizz Control Conditioner. It's smooth and rich, but still easily distributed through my hair after shampooing. I tend to leave it on for a couple of minutes before rinsing it out well, and my hair it very manageable afterwards, as well as looking healthy. I find that it weighs my hair down a touch each time, but I don't feel like I have experienced product build up in the few weeks that I have been using it as it's washed out well with the next shampoo. The weigh down is very slight compared to many other products I have used, and the manageability of my curls offsets that to my eyes.

The Papaya & Neroli All Day Frizz Control Shampoo is lovely to use. Non-stripping, it cleans effectively, though I feel that two washes with light product use works better than one wash with a heavier hand as rinsing it out well is key. It lathers, but not crazily, and there is a distinct scent though I don't find it bothersome and the entire range is not strong enough to trigger my sensitivities. I don't find that the shampoo weighs down my hair if well rinsed, and there has been no build up over the few weeks I have used it so far, while my hair has looked very healthy since I switched to these products

Ginger ale is a staple to my family. My parents and grandparents gave it to us for years when we sick, but also as a treat as it was probably the one carbonated drink the entire family could agree on. I have loved it ever since I could remember, and so have been very curious to try any new variation that came out, especially from my favorite brand @CanadaDryCanada .
The #CanadaDryPremium Ginger Ale I tried this time was delicious. It's a bit richer and deeper in flavor than Canada Dry's traditional Ginger Ale, and the carbonation accents the flavor without taking it over. This is not a drink I would stir out the bubbles and drink warm and flat to ride out a tummy ache, it's one I would savor chilled, poured right out of the bottle.
Speaking of the bottle, the clear glass bottles used for Canada Dry Premium Ginger Ale are beautiful and highlight the golden color of the drink perfectly! They are recyclable and reusable (cute little vases anyone?), and come in a little cardboard carrier, also keeping the ecological waste down.
I #gotitfree through @ChickAdvisor , but I will be going back for more!

I got this as a gift, I am not certain as to the price. It's an amazing face oil though! I have dry skin and my first experience with a face oil ended up being a fail as it was a migraine trigger. Face Hero is fantastic, it causes no reactions, is not super oily, dries down quickly, and the only scents are of the ingredients. It's provided additional nourishment to my face without clogging my pores and causing any breakouts, and helps keep all the great moisturizing layers I apply prior to it locked in. I use 4-5 drops a night. -

The Inkey List's Bakuchiol is where I have started my retinol journey, as I have dry skin which can decide to be sensitive at times. I decided to stick it in the anti-aging night cream category because that is essentially what this is billed to be, as this is supposed to be a moisturizer. It doesn't work very well as a moisturizer, it's not strong enough for that. I use it more as a serum and follow it up with a better moisturizer. But as an introductory retinol-alternative product, it does work well. The price is fabulous. -

I don't use pads, but pour a bit into my hands and pat it directly onto my skin after cleansing. It sinks in nicely and has a smooth, velvety finish. There is a hint of an oat or rice scent to the product that soothes me and it leaves my dry skin feeling nourished and moisturized without feeling or looking dewy. A little goes a long way, even if I am tempted to bathe in the stuff! I plan to buy more very shortly.

This is billed as a makeup remover, cleanser and toner all in one. I have never used it to remove makeup, so I can't review that aspect. I have used this as a gentle cleanser, either in the morning or when my skin was feeling very sensitive and for that purpose it's worked quite well. It is a cream formula and doesn't lather, and you are supposed to wipe it off. I find it leaves my skin feeling soft and soothed, and as long as as I don't over load on product there is no film left behind. -

I got the Punch of Pink 070 shade. This may end up being my favorite Burt's Bees product yet. I love Burt's Bees lip balms, but this lip gloss is superb and is now higher on my favorites list! I was skeptical of the color at first as sugary sweet pink is not my color, but on my lips the color is very buildable and a very light coat leaves a sheer pink sheen on my lips while a heavier coat leaves a lovely pink color that is much nicer than what the tube implies. It looks fabulous and could work with a range of looks from nudes to a foil for heavier colored looks. There is a scent/flavor of punch to the gloss, as the name implies, and it's just right. Not overly sweet or fake, and very appealing. The gloss is also very moisturizing, melting into your lips without feeling sticky, and it lasts a long period of time. I am going to be keeping my eye out for more when I go shopping.
I received this product to try as part of a testing program, but my opinions are my own.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this eyeliner. I have been wearing liquid black eyeliner for a while, as I found that mechanical black liners smudged too much or looked too dull. While not a very deep black, the Cashmere 735 Le Liner Signature stayed put even on my non-primed oily-ish lids, and DID NOT smudge! All the while, the color stayed true to itself. The pencil did not tug when applied, and glided nicely, and it's pretty too! My only quibble is that as easy glide as it is, the point fades very fast into a wide rounded tip, making precision difficult. It can be fixed and worked around, but it's a bit of a hassle. That said, it's a very minor quibble overall, I truly love this pencil!

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to #trySchmidtsNaturals as they have a great reputation, and the new formulations sounded incredible. The Charcoal + Magnesium deodorant sounded interesting, and my male family member was intrigued by the idea of a charcoal deodorant. As for all products, not all natural deodorants work the same for each person. Unfortunately, these were not a match for us, though there are certain qualities we would like to highlight.
My brother tried the Charcoal + Magnesium deodorant. He doesn't like stick deodorant's clumping in his pit hair, so he agreed to shave first, and as per the instructions, waited at least 8 hours before applying the deodorant. It still burned him badly and he refused to try it again. He did mention that he had enjoyed the scent, as it was fresh and he said held a hint of tang to it.
I cleaned off the deodorant and decided to try it myself. I waited 48 hours since I last shaved, and my underarms are not usually sensitive anyways. My underarms also stung a bit. I must mention that my toothpaste is baking soda based so I don't have an allergy to it, but apparently deodorant with baking soda does not suit my family. The texture felt a touch sticky to me, though my brother had not remarked upon it. I also thought that the scent was very nice. If it was not for my skin reaction I would have really enjoyed wearing the deodorant even though it's not technically marketed to women, I think the scent is pretty universal.
I #gotitfree @chickadvisor , but the opinions mentioned are those of my brother and I.
