Playing with the new Spring 2016 Lancôme My Parisian Pastels Shimmer Cube. Was so excited to find it at Hudson's Bay - as I thought it didn't launch in Canada till March! Loving the versatility of all nine cubes for eyes, cheeks and highlights. The smooth and illuminating but subtle shades of this palette are perfect for both day and night. A little on the higher end price wise at about $69.99 - but in my opinion so worth it! -

The Aces Okanagan Valley 2012 Cabernet Merlot is fruity deep blend of three different grape varieties. Slightly sweet and not too dry. On sale about $12.00 a bottle so inexpensively priced for a quality BC Merlot blend - A win in my book! Oh and Happy Lunar New Year too with my lucky coins! -

The POREfessional Matte Rescue Gel from Benefit is actually pretty amazing! My olive toned skin has a tendency to get oily and shiny by days end - especially in the T-Zone area and Matte Rescue actually made a difference with reduced shine and pore minimization. For a gel it has amazing effective staying power and does not feel heavy or greasy on your skin. Was pretty reasonably priced at my local Shoppers Drugmart too. Hands down - I love this one! -

Similar to their Massage Bars - goes on silky smooth with just your body heat for a subtle shimmery sparkle. Loved the Notes of Vanilla, Lavender & Sage and as always made with Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter. Very reasonably priced at $7.95 a bar - they would make great "Galentine's" Gifts too! -

The Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Colour Trio in BE 213 Nude is a fabulous little Shimmery set of neutrals. (Although is does come in quite a few other colour combos too!) It comes with a double ended foam applicator and a small brush which makes it ideal for in your purse and on the go. The colours are true and pigmented - although slightly shimmery which I found a nice chance from my usual matte shadows. Reasonably priced as well! -

Really feeling the warmer matte taupe shades of Naked Basics 2 and the deeper brown of "Undone" as well as the slight shimmer of "Skimp" for highlighting. Overall - Amazing! And yes you need this!! I think I prefer Naked Basics 2 over Naked Basics only because the colours lean towards a warmer palette - but I adore both! -
