Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Antiseptic Ointment Cream is an excellent natural alternative to antiseptic creams - similar to Polysporin. It works very well on everyday cuts and scrapes - helping to soothe and promote healing with tea tree oil. The consistency of the cream is great and absorbs well into the skin. Very pleasing scent too. I found it at Walmart Canada and I think it is just as effective as many others on the market for a lot less cost. -

I recently purchased the Ecotools Bamboo Powder Brush at my local Shoppers Drugmart for about $8.00. I didn't want to buy an expensive brush to try out some new bronzer (even though this is a powder brush it works perfectly!) For the price it is an amazing tool, with soft, full bristles that don't fall out and allow even application. Although you do get what you pay for when it comes to make up brushes - this is an excellent value for the results. -

Great to use on damp or dry hair and enhances shine as well. You can also use it as a detangler on wet hair. A little on the expensive side - but like most oil based hair products you only need a very tiny amount to get results. ie - I bought a 50 ml bottle over a year ago and it is still mostly full! -

Only open for a year - I had the pleasure of dining at Minas last month in Calgary. Located next to the Eau Claire Market Parkade - parking was a breeze for being downtown. The atmosphere is modern but cozy. The food was amazing. This is a traditional Brazilian BBQ house with the major influence being the food culture of Southeast Brazil, where traditional churrasco-style barbequed meats and sausage are served alongside sumptuous local vegetable dishes, including okra, bean dishes, and savoury squash. The buffet entrees included a fabulous selection of hot and cold dishes (and I loved the fact that the English names for them are also shown - lol!) The BBQ was to die for and ranged from all types of beef, chicken and pork to sausage, bacon wrapped items and seafood. A little pricey but definitely worth the price in my opinion! -

Naturegg Omega 3 Eggs from Burnbrae Farms are my favourite Omega 3 Egg on the market! The white Omega Eggs peel very easily when boiled and are a great source of protein and a filling snack. They cost a little more than some other brands - but by far I have always found them above the rest. I like that their packaging is recyclable too! -
