Well I wasn't sure what to expect, and maybe this is something we don't really want to talk about but some women are bothered by the peach fuzz on their face and wish they could do something about it. For me it's the chin area and upper lip that really bothered me. Whether it was something that happened with hormonal changes after children, or as a normal part of aging, but it bothered me every time I looked in the mirror.
I had an opportunity to try Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover for free in exchange for my honest review. Though at first I was a bit apprehensive, after seeing other people's positive reviews, I decided it was worth a go.
Discreet and compact - it easily fits in your hand, and is rather attractive looking, with beautiful metallic colours.
The unit includes a battery and a small cleaning brush. It was a bit tricky to get the battery section open.
The shaving head is a unique coil shape that is supposed to remove unwanted hair quickly and painlessly. This piece is easily removed for cleaning purposes.
Easy to turn on, there is also a light to help you see the finer hairs. Personally I didn't find the light that helpful - I was already using a lighted mirror, so perhaps the extra light wasn't needed.
The unit makes minimal noise, not too loud but noise all the same.
So, down to the nitty gritty - how does it perform? I can honestly say the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover is amazing. It works so quickly and I didn't feel a thing. In the area that I removed the hair, the skin is smooth, no stubble no redness or any evidence that hair was ever there. I immediately looked for other areas to try the unit on -- it was that fun and easy to use!
We'll see how long it takes for any hair regrowth, but I feel amazing that my problem area was taken care of. The price point is quite affordable for a long-lasting hair removal tool. I am already considering purchasing more of their products, particularly the unit for eyebrows.

I received Aveeno Baby Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream for free in exchange for my honest review. We have tried other Aveeno products and have been happy with the gentleness of the product and yet how well it works. The Aveeno Baby Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream is no different - gentle and effective.
My daughter is older now but suffered from eczema since she was a baby. Her skin is more sensitive to products, so using something that is gentle and without a lot of fragrance is key.
We found that just a small amount of Aveeno Baby Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream would provide ample coverage. I used this product on my hands, my daughter used on hands and arms. We liked how quickly it absorbs, that there is no smell and no greasy, slippery feeling afterwards. The cream stays on for awhile so I feel protected, almost like a protective barrier is on my skin.
Though this product is aimed at those suffering from eczema, I do not and still enjoy using this moisturizing cream. I think it is good for those with eczema as it is so gentle and provides long-lasting relief.
Aveeno products are reasonably priced and readily available in local stores. We will continue to purchase and use various Aveeno products.

Received this fantastic set from Spin Master -- Kinetic Sand Rainbow Cake Shoppe. Comes with 4 nicely coloured sands and lots of accessories. So smart that the box folds into itself to make a play area! My daughter has played with this every day. Of course the 4 coloured sands have now all joined together into a new colour, lol.
The only minor "problem" is that there are some decoration molds under the cake stand, but once you have placed the cake on the stand, you are not able to use it to make decorations. You would need to make the decorations first, but since the sand tends to crumble, it would be hard to put these aside while getting the cake prepared.
Overall, we love this set. Both my 7-year old and 11-year old children have been playing with it. They find it relaxing. My youngest has been using kitchen tools, and items from other games to add to this set, to help her make more decorations etc. If the sand spills, I find it is easy to clean up. I would definitely purchase this set.

Well this frying pan is pretty amazing. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it also works beautifully. The first thing I noticed was how light the pan was, even though it is a substantially size. We were planning for a quick lunch, so I decided to make eggs on this new frying pan. I found the PADERNO frypan to heat evenly and stay at a nice temperature. The eggs cooked absolutely perfectly, and had a wonderful taste and texture. We eat a lot of eggs, so I could really notice a difference in how they cooked in the PADERNO. This will definitely become my go-to frying pan. It has a good depth to it, so would be useful for many different foods. Thank you for letting me try this - I will now be spoiled to go back to my old frying pan! I also found the cleanup to be a pleasure - nothing was stuck on the pan, a quick soap and wipe and it was all clean. -

I found that a little of the product went a long way, so that is helpful. I enjoyed using the product - not sure how calming/effecting at stress relief it was for me, but it was a pleasurable experience. I will continue to use this product. My daughter and I had fun playing the Hedbanz Lightspeed game. It doesn't have a lot of parts, so easy to set up. We found the rules to be a bit confusing - perhaps as we were just 2 players..maybe it works better with a larger number of players. We altered the rules to what we thought, and had a great time playing, with some laughs. We found the headpiece to be uncomfortable. My daughter is young, so it was large, and although the adjuster piece had a lot of holes to tighten, it was difficult for me to get it to lock while on her head. Perhaps a velcro adjuster would be easier to use. For myself, the unit was hard and heavy and pushed into the top of my nose/forehead and did not feel good. We ended up not wearing it, and just sitting it in front of us as we played.
Overall we enjoyed this game, but only with some adjustments to the game play.

My daughter, age 7 enjoys playing with kinectic sand. The Kinectic Sand Flowfetti Tube was a big hit for her. She enjoyed opening the package and tube. The sand was really packed in the tube, so required a bit of help to get it out. The sand was very soft and easy to play with/mold. We did find that the 2 colours merged and the yellow disappeared, leaving only a neon green colour. The included molds made great shapes, and we discovered later that the tops of the tube also could make shapes - they act like stampers. I found that the confetti did not stick very well into the sand, so have been finding confetti pieces all over the floor. Overall we are pleased with this toy. It has provided my daughter with fun play time, and allowed her to be creative. I would purchase this again, dependent on the price. I think it would be a great gift item as well. -

I am a fan of Chapman's ice cream products. I find them well priced and made with quality ingredients that taste great. I was able to try Chapman's Super Premium Plus Cold Brew Coffee for review. The packaging is attractive and looks like a high quality product. Though the price is comparable to competitors, I found the price to be high for the container size.
At first glance, the ice cream looks appealing. Scooping it out is easy to do, and you can tell it will be a creamy product. The ice cream was so smooth, like none I have tried before, so that was enjoyable. The flavour of the coffee was nice, but not quite what I had expected. It was good, but not as special as I had hoped.
As the taste was not my favourite, and the price was higher than I'd like, I think I would be more likely to purchase a different Chapman's ice cream product in the future, and not re-purchase this one. For me, I just didn't get much benefit of the Premium product versus Chapman's regular line.

The Aveeno Kids Face & Body Gel Cream may well become my favourite hand moisturizer. We found it to absorb well, with no greasy feeling, and for hands to still feel hydrated, even after washing. My daughter's skin tends to be more sensitive and she didn't have any issues with the Aveeno products. We find them to be gentle yet effective. My daughter enjoyed using the Aveeno Kids Face & Body Gel Cream on her hands and arms and her face, and liked that she didn't feel any dryness afterwards. We will purchase this product again. -

My daughter liked the Aveeno Kids Face & Body Wash. The scent is pleasant and not too strong. We enjoy using a pump for bathing as it dispenses easily. We did not find the product to lather too much - if this product is meant more for babies or younger kids, that makes sense. Though we would have preferred more bubbles, we did find the product to be effective and my daughter felt very clean after using it. We also found it very easy to wash off, which was nice. My daughter also loved that the wash can be used on her face as well, without causing stinging to her eyes. -
