Cool! The airport area is ... kinda sad.. but the air is really fresh! If he's an outdoorsy guy tell him to take a cab to Assinaboine Park. It's a big beautiful city park and a great place to jog, rollerblade or just relax on the grass.

And, yes I do have a lot of friends! I basically add everyone I can. We didn't set it up to do it automatically, I do it manually when I catch a new sign up. So it's not everyone but definitely a good chunk of them. ;) Imperfect, yes, but I do try to read each and every profile when I can. It's kinda fun!

Oh, the Peg! I miss it ...a little. I'm planning to go there soon myself. If he is staying downtown and has some time in the evening, everything is walking distance. I recommend the Forks. If not, then he will just have to observe it's flatness from his hotel window. We're still trying to get ourselves out to "The Valley" at some point too. Am so excited for you with the wedding plans and so glad you get your ideal location!!

Hey Spotty! Yes, I'm pregnant...at 37 weeks now!! I'm doing great and I'm loving this whole experience. Not to say life is happy and dandy all the time but nothing has made me wish I could have the baby sooner. If anything, I think I'm going to really miss having this little guy with me 24-7. :) I only have 1 week of work left and then I have 2 weeks to relax at home before the expected due date. :)

I just want to ask you something else. I know you are an avid photographer (as am I). I have been wanting yo buy a digital SLR for quite some time now. Right now I use a film SLR, it's a Nikon FE (it's ancient I know!)

Anyway, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should be a new digital SLR to bring on this trip backpacking through Europe. I am worried that it will get stolen, but then again I HATE point and shoot cameras, they bother me because I can't control the settings like in an SLR.

I don't want to bring a film camera, because film is cumbersome and ancient as well! Plus I am going to be carrying it all on my back -_-

I really want to buy a digital SLR, but they are so expensive... here they are about $1500 CDN (which is actually very similar to U.S. currency right now). It is gonna set me back $1500!

So what do you suggest?? lol... sorry for putting this all on you! Let me know what you think!
