I've spent the past week using the Sukin Revitalizing Facial Scrub. It's a great product! My skin can sometimes be reactive to super abrasive products but the exfoliating in this one is fairly gentle and didn't cause any soreness or redness. It has definitely left my skin feeling soft and fresh with no residual tightness. I love that the exfoliating comes from natural sources which makes it better for your skin and the environment. It has no phony smelling fragrance and my face feels clean and ready for the next steps in my beauty regime. I Will absolutely continue using this product. -

The perfect choice going into summer for coffee lovers! The Kicking Horse Kick Ass Cold brew was just as amazing as their regular coffee. Rich, full-bodied and dark, there is no lack of flavour here. The coffee flavour is on the strong side so it helps if that is to your taste. It's definitely not bitter though! I thoroughly enjoyed this as a replacement for my usual hot coffee; made the morning pick me up refreshing AND delicious! I like that there are no added sweeteners, just wonderful, balanced coffee flavour. I drank it straight but I bet this would be delicious blended up with some cream or a flavoured creamer. -

I had the opportunity to try the Cherry pomegranate club soda recently, and it was the perfect bubbly summer drink. The flavor is very subtle and not overwhelmingly sweet which is nice. It's a nice foundation for adding other flavors, I tried adding some pineapple juice and pieces of pineapple and it was amazing. To me, the slight cherry flavor was far more prominent than any pomegranate.
If you're looking for something different than pop with a bit of fizz and a light fruity flavor, I recommend this. Not only is it delicious as is, but I think it would be delicious with a splash of gin or vodka.

I recently had the chance to try the Got2B Clean & Refresh Dry Shampoo, I noticed that it left my hair with a vaguely grey, powdery look, even though I held the can quite far away while spraying. I had to brush my hair for quite awhile to get rid of the residue. I have medium brown hair so probably on lighter hair this wouldn't be as much of a problem.
The scent is OK, a kind of flowery citrus. It's pretty strong though and WILL compete with any other scents you are wearing; I didn't really like that as I had already applied perfume before using this. Again, it's not that the scent is bad, it's just very noticeable.
Overall this product doesn't seem to be something I'd use again. I think you would need to have more of a problem with oily hair for this to be a good option. Since my hair doesn't get oily, I found this just kind of made it fly-away and dull looking. It clearly does what it's supposed to do, so if you do have problems with your hair getting oily or limp between washes I'd bet this would work great.

I have tried this service twice now and will not use it again. Both times I ended up having to visit the store again myself to return things. When someone else is choosing things like produce for you there is a big chance you are not going to get what you want and that is definitely the case here. The first time I used this service I received a package of Brussel sprouts that were literally hard and dried out. I honestly can't imagine how anybody could have picked them up and thought that they were even worthy of still being on the shelf for sale. And that is the biggest problem with this service. If the person fulfilling your order doesn't really care and just wants to get their work done you probably are not going to get the best of what is available. This service is probably best for somebody who is ordering something that is pre-packaged, does not need refrigeration, is not frozen or fresh and doesn't have any particular expiry date. Unfortunately it was overall a very disappointing experience for me. -

I am so happy to have been selected to try this product because Pina Colada's are my favourite sunny day drink and this drink mix did not disappoint. This makes it incredibly fast and easy to whip up an amazing tropical concoction that is sure to be killer at any party (or even if you're just hanging out alone on a summer day!) Not too sweet, it has a nice, authentic coconut taste with a hint of pineapple. I was really impressed because sometimes these sorts of products can taste kind of phony. I added a slice of pineapple and a black cherry to my drink with a sprig of mint and voila! Perfectly smooth and refreshing afternoon treat.
I will be buying this product again and again and can't wait to try some of the other flavours too!

I was recently given the opportunity to try the Becel sticks and chose to try the unsalted version. As we have vegans in our family who visit frequently I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do some vegan baking. I used the product to make vegan chocolate chip cookies, they came out amazing! The fact that this product is in sticks with measurements printed on the wrapper is great and made it very easy . It is also immediately ready to use straight from the fridge . Everybody loved them not just the vegans. They were soft and tasted great. I've also used this product on toast as well as on vegetables. I also used it with some lemon to top asparagus the other night and thought it tasted just as good as a butter sauce would have. It also meant that the vegans in the family were able to enjoy the same meal we all did.
I liked this product so much I've since gone out and purchased the Salted version.

I had the opportunity to try the Becel Avo Plus oil and I have to say I have been loving it. This oil is excellent as an all-purpose cooking oil, I have used it for everything from frying eggs to stovetop french fries to oiling a pan for baking and it did the job very well each time. It is ideal because it does not have a strong flavor and therefore does not affect the taste of what you are preparing. The high smoke point also makes it great for nearly anything you might want to use it for in the kitchen. An extra bonus would be the health benefits added by the avocado oil, you're also getting your omega-3! this has been a great addition to my pantry. I'm sure I will continue to use it, it has a great price point of about $8. -

I was lucky to be able to try the Dove Revive Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena Body Wash. I've found the light creamy lotion to be very gentle on my skin, it has definitely left my skin feeling soft and smooth and there's no sort of film or dryness once it's rinsed. The scent is fresh and fruity but not overpowering. I have used it both in the shower and as a bubble bath (it works well for this!)
Like most Dove products I think this would work well even for someone with sensitive skin. I recommend it for anyone struggling with dry skin or who has issues with breakouts or rashes with other body washes (this one is paraben and sulphate free!)

Firstly I want to say this brand scores extra points for being cruelty free and not tested on animals. Secondly, it actually works! I found the primer had nice spreadability and you really didn't need to use too much (which means even the sample size should last a while!). It created a nice smooth base for foundation application and made my skin feel good; no stickiness or tackiness like some products can create. It seemed to help the staying power of my foundation too. Being silicone free should mean skin stays clear and avoids breaks outs and so far so good!
If you have sensitive skin and want a more natural, mineral primer I definitely recommend you give this brand a try.
