I really enjoyed this flavour of the protein snack bar. As with the cashew bar, this one was a little on the sweet side but I found it less intensely sweet than that one. I find the calorie count in comparison to the nutritional value a little high for a snack type product but I would definitely eat these in future as an occasional snack. Overall the texture is great, chunky and substantial with no weird texture like some protein bars seem to have. The almond and dark chocolate combo is delicious. I didn't find the sea salt very prominent.
I would recommend these as an occasional, healthier snack.

I really enjoyed this protein bar. It's definitely more like a dessert/sweet treat than a protein bar (they can often be heavy, chalky and lacking in great flavour). Having said that, this bar is a little on the sweet side so if you don't have a sweet tooth you might find it a little less to your liking. It has nice dark chocolate flavour though, it's the caramel that I think is a bit oversweet. There is a good amount of cashews (which is a nice change from the peanuts or almonds that many bars include). I would certainly take these to work for a mid-morning snack, a great, healthier alternative to a candy bar and a nice change from the usual granola bar or gritty protein bar. For me the calorie count is a little high for a snack food, but it does provide 10g of protein and seems to keep me feeling full for awhile. -

I received the Pure Leaf Matcha Tea Sachets for review. I generally drink green teas and matcha is a favourite; it can be quite a ritual to prepare and consume. These are a simple way to experience the deliciousness of matcha green tea. Compared to some of the matcha powders I've purchased and prepared these are milder (I don't want to say weaker since the flavour is there, but they aren't as full bodied as a more expensive matcha powder is). You definitely want to whisk this as directed to prepare it properly.
I found these particularly convenient for making matcha lattes (hot and chilled). I just foamed a little milk and whisked it into the prepared tea, added a little whipped cream on tip and YUM!
I would buy these again especially to take to work. It makes having a more special drink a snap and it's a LOT cheaper than buying a fancy drink at a coffee shop.

This Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme lipstick in Lolita is AMAZING! I love a matte lipstick but sometimes (especially in winter) my lips are dry and just can't handle a straight up matte product. This lipstick is a perfect solution, with a beautiful, creamy texture that doesn't end up looking too glossy. And the color is gorgeous, an incredible, rosy neutral that I think would be flattering on a number of different skin tones. It feels great on, not sticky or tacky, just smooth and comfortable and the longevity is pretty good too; I only reapplied once after lunch and once later on (again after eating/drinking).
This is a cruelty free and vegan product which is super important to me; I'm beyond happy that something I am ethically aligned with is so incredible as a product too! The bonus is the sexy packaging! I'll definitely be buying more colors.

This tea is so nicely packaged and smells great when you open the jar. And it doesn't disappoint! That flavour carries on into the tea. Sometimes with ginger teas you get an excessive "ginger burn" but I didn't find that to be the case with this tea. The ginger and orange flavours are nicely balanced making for a wonderfully tasty, soothing hot drink.
This is a perfect after dinner or before bed sipper. I will definitely be adding this flavour to my admittedly large collection of teas!

I had the opportunity to try the Schwarzkopf root retoucher in the brown colour which was perfect because not only is my hair coloured darker than my natural colour, I've also had greys coming in since my mid twenties!
This product was absolutely amazing. The color match was dead-on (and not flat looking) and it's so easy to spray and there's no mess. You definitely cannot tell there is any sort of spray colour on your hair which is something I was worried about. It evened out my light golden brown and grey roots to where you would never know and there was no icky chemical type fragrance. I will definitely keep using this as it will allow me to go longer between actual colourings which will do wonders for the condition of my otherwise over processed hair!

I was fortunate to be able to try this product courtesy of Chick Advisor. As someone who not only gets very dry, sore, itchy skin in the winter but experiences patches of eczema around my ears, this was a welcome opportunity.
First, this product is very moisturizing; it's a rich, thick cream that does feel like it takes awhile to absorb but, once it does it's very effective at remedying dryness. I also found it very soothing, it definitely relieved the itchy soreness of my worst dry spots. In terms of my eczema around the ears, I noticed it eliminated the sore, flaky spots completely in about 3 days.
I was happy to note that this cream is very natural and has no fragrance which in my opinion often adds to irritation. This cream is definitely going on my list of must haves, particularly in the winter when I tend to struggle with my skin.
A winner!

I received the Premier Protein shakes in Vanilla and Chocolate flavour. I wasn't a huge fan of either on their own but once I turned them into smoothies I found them pretty good!
The texture of the chocolate shake wasn't too bad; I've had some protein drinks that had a fairly chalky, grainy texture, not so much here. But I didn't find that the flavour was super authentic; I won't say totally artificial but there was something a little off. My solution was to make a peanut butter chocolate flax shake and that was delicious! Definitely a great way to get your protein! I made mine after a Pilates class and it was an indulgent feeling treat after exercising.
Overall I like these products but definitely more as a smoothie component than as a standalone drink. I do recommend you try for yourself, it's worth it.

I was fortunate to have been chosen to give the Premier Protein shakes a try in both Vanilla and Chocolate flavour. As someone who is on the go and doesn't generally take the time to eat breakfast, I thought these would be an ideal compromise.
I will admit, I am not the biggest fan of these straight from the carton as a drink on their own. I find the flavour kind of weirdly fake and especially with the vanilla there was an odd aftertaste. I decided to turn the vanilla into a peach/orange smoothie and the chocolate into a peanut butter chocolate and flax smoothie. Both were delicious! My favourite in terms of smoothies was the vanilla; this flavour does lend itself nicely to additions and is great for providing you with that boost you need to start your day! I tend to like vanilla more than chocolate anyway, but I did like the chocolate peanut butter combo, it felt like a real treat!
If you are looking for a good protein product to enhance your healthy lifestyle I recommend these as a great smoothie addition!

I've been using the Satya Organic Eczema Relief cream for a few days now and it's kind of miraculous! I get breakouts on my forehead and chin that are sore and red every month. Literally nothing seems to relieve them and I end up unable to wear makeup for a few days. I've been suing the eczema relief cream on these spots and in just two days have seen an amazing improvement! Not only are they going away but more importantly it is relieving the soreness and burning feeling that they cause. I admit, I was sceptical at first but this really works! I've also been using it on my lips and and on a couple of dry spots on my face and again, this is definitely healing! I love that it is all-natural and made up of such simple but effective ingredients! My only issue with the product is the packaging; I think having this in a tin that you dip into might make it easier for the product to become contaminated. Overall this is a great product that I will definitely use again! -
