I was very lucky to review GOSH Lip Lacquer for free as part of the Product Review Club. At first, I thought that the product was nail polish due to the shape of the bottle and applicator. I really liked the unique nail polish bottle and it was just the right size to fit into any purse/clutch.
I liked that the Lip Lacquer had all of the benefits of a lipstick, as it provided a rich colour which lasted on my lips for hours, and gloss, as it added a shine and kept lips moisturized with vitamin E, but I was torn about the colour. The colour I was provided was #006 Funky - it was a bit bold for me to wear everyday/during the day. I think I would wear this if I was going out for an evening with girlfriends or to an event, but it was a bit bold for day to day wear.
All in all, I would recommend it - I found it at drugstores/pharmacies for around $10. It is a good value for the product, but if I were to purchase it again, I would choose a more neutral shade (the lip lacquer comes in 8 different shades).

I recently received the Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Toothpaste as part of the Product Review Club! I was excited to try the new toothpaste as I read it provides all of the benefits of cavity protection, strengthens tooth enamel, and whitens teeth using milder ingredients (e.g., baking soda, lower concentration of peroxide).
I began using it five days ago (the day I received my product in the mail) and didn't want to post a premature review before using it for five days because the brand promotes that you will have a radiant smile in just five days of using the toothpaste. Initially, I will admit that the taste of the toothpaste was surprising. I have become accustomed to it after five days of using the product between 2-3 times a day, but the strong taste of baking soda did take some getting used to.
The taste is worth it though because I have noticed that my teeth are looking more white and radiant after the five days. The product removes daily stains/discoloration caused by foods or beverages (e.g., diet pops, tea). I really appreciated that the results of Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant toothpaste matched their description!
All in all, I would recommend Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Toothpaste. Especially considering it is sold at stores, such as Walmart, for $1.88, how can you go wrong?

I recently tried Cadbury's Caramel Popcorn Chocolate Bar! It is surprisingly delicious - crunchy caramel popcorn covered in creamy, decadent Cadbury milk chocolate. I found the combination of sweet and salty (from the caramel popcorn) delicious! It is easy to find, at most grocery and pharmacy stores, usually sold for between $1.25-$2. I hope you enjoy this chocolate bar as much as I did! -

After trying this wine on the weekend, it has become my new favourite white wine!! Bodacious Smooth White Wine is very affordable - $9.95/750 mL bottle. It is described as having a pale straw colour, aromatic floral nose, and off-dry/fruity with floral and peach notes on the palate.
I usually find other white wines bitter, and this was very smooth! It is a bit sweeter than other white wines, but if you prefer a sweeter taste (similar to Riesling) this is for you! This really has become my new favourite wine and I cannot wait to sip this on patios in the upcoming summer season!

I agree with other reviewers! I would highly recommend Bounce Dryer Sheets. I have tried using other brands and non-name brand dryer sheets and they do not compare! They are easy to use - just add them in the dryer with your clothes after removing them from a washer. They work great at removing static cling from clothes (especially socks and yoga pants) and soften the clothes in the dryer. I usually use unscented dryer sheets, but others may prefer scented!
I loved reading other "Chick Advisor's" reviews on this product - gave me great ideas on how to use the product in a variety of ways (e.g., bug/mice repellents and fresheners for drawers/bags).

Old El Paso Taco Kits are my go-to taco kits for Mexican Wednesdays at home!! They are so convenient and affordable! I would strongly recommend everyone trying King Slice Pizzeria! King Slice is located in the High Park area of Toronto (1598 Bloor St W, between Keele and Dundas St. West).
The pizza is amazing! The pizza has a crispy-crust loaded with cheese and fresh toppings. The slices range between $4-5 dollars, however they are so large they require at least two paper plates to handle - great value!
You are able to dine-in or place a take-out order. I have only dined-in, either inside or on the patio tables outside in the summer! I haev heard mixed reviews when you are placing a delivery order, but have never experienced this - maybe other reviewers can elaborate!

I wouldn't recommend Boston Pizza. I have been a few times, to locations in Toronto, Windsor and Wasaga Beach. I always have difficulty finding something to order from their menu because of the poor quality and high price of the food. I have never had any difficulty with service - all staff have been attentive and friendly. I just wish they had a better selection of tastier food at a more reasonable price! -

I would not recommend Fishermans Friend Lozenges. I was advised to use these to calm the tickle in my throat that causes me to cough and clear my throat frequently (e.g., like Sarah Jessica Parker's character from the movie "The Family Stone"). I could not get past the awful taste - it made my mouth cringe and I could not finish any lozenge I tried to use to soothe my throat! Would not recommend as a result. -

I used this product for many years! I have always had straight, long hair and had difficulty brushing it when it was wet (e.g., after swimming and showers). I used to spray Loreal Detangler in my hair to make it much easier to comb/brush through. It worked very effectively at detangling my hair and left a lovely scent on my hair!
I definitely recommend this product. If you have children, this will make brushing their hair after a shower or swimming much easier. If you use it as an adult (like I did), it will do the same!!
