I recently got these Coloured Lights, and I must say, they seem really well-built and strong. Even though it's not the holiday season, I can tell that these lights are made to last. They have a nice, vibrant glow, which adds a cheerful touch to any space. I did find them a bit tricky to untangle, but once they were up, they looked fantastic and that’s normal for Christmas lights. I'm looking forward to using these lights throughout December, not just during the exact Christmas period. They definitely seem like they'll be a reliable addition to my outdoor decorations and when testing them I found them to be great. -

I’ve used DAP products before and am always super happy with the value. DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant works as well as those I’ve used in the past and does a fantastic job. I love that it can be painted on pretty quickly and doesn’t shrink (though it’ll take time to confirm that!).
Since I’m always super busy, being able to paint on it quickly is really a great feature for me. It was easy to snip and use and just didn’t have any issues for me. I’d buy it and recommend it.

I’ve had a lot of Safety 1st items that I really enjoyed and never before having I found that name ironic. Unfortunately, in the case of this high chair you’re looking at possible safety issues, shoddily made product and on top of that, one that simply doesn’t match the picture of what they’re selling. I bought online and it’s easy to realise that the footrest now included is totally different from the one shown in the listing.
It looks like the footrest used to curve around and have a whole different panel on it. Similarly the instructions for attaching the footrest are clearly old and give no clue how to actually attach it. We were able to make it work, but…it’s awful. It looks terrible and is just so bad.
The legs are metal ‘wood’ effect, but don’t seem strong or stable despite this. Lastly, the ‘pull buckle’ safety design is a joke. Turning the tabs prevents a hard pull from taking them out, but all it takes is it to go loose once (like when you lift the baby out) and it can easily turn around and pull through. Even then, I’m not trusting a baby to what is essentially the safety equivalent of a when your earring falls to pieces because the chain found the one hole in the hoop. I literally messed with it and saw it happen in real time.
It baffles me that this passed the safety regulations. It’s cheap looking, feeling and possibly unsafe. Definitely not worth your time or your hard earned cash and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a recall or lawsuit about this product in the future. At best, it doesn’t match the product they are claiming to sell (parts have been changed) and at worst, it’s a hazard. Big Yikes from me.

I don’t use skincare as much as I used to and for me it boils down to two things; does it make my skin better (obviously!) and does it make me feel good. Shu Uemura’s Ultime8 Cleansing Oil ticks both those boxes for me. It has improved my skintone and texture without breakouts and I really love it!
What did surprise me is how much I enjoy the experience. I never usually ‘like’ using skincare. It’s something to help your skin and sometimes it’s nice to care for yourself, but my experience using Ultime8 was so soothing that I was shocked. Something about the sweet, slightly herbal scent makes me feel really happy and relaxed, like receiving a soothing face massage, but without the stress of having a stranger mess with your face! I can’t really explain it…I’ve just never had a scent I liked so much. Considering I’m not normally partial to herbal style scents, it was not expected. It’s just warm, nice and the perfect strength. Similarly, applying the oil also feels incredibly soothing and gentle on the skin.
The only negative for me is that I usually use Micellar Water as I prefer a no-fuss cleanser, but I enjoyed the experience of using Ultime8 Cleansing Oil so much that it actually became a lot easier for me. Instead of having to put aside the time to do a more complex cleansing, I found myself doing it earlier in the night because I wanted to feel happy and relaxed. I’ve literally never felt that way with a cleanser and didn’t even know it was possible. If it sounds like I’m praising this a little too hard, it’s because my actual experience was so unexpected and pleasant!
I’m definitely going to continue to use this cleansing oil for sure and I’ll definitely be doing it with a smile on my face!

I’m a big fan of peaches and cream, and Chapman’s Canadian Peaches and Cream frozen yoghurt is definitely right up my alley. The frozen yoghurt itself is a blend of peach flavoured yoghurt and cream flavoured yoghurt, and despite being lower fat than ice cream it’s extremely rich and creamy which I love. I expected it to be more fruity/sorbet style as I’ve never had a creamy frozen yoghurt before.
One thing that really helps complete this frozen yoghurt are the real peach chunks you can find in every scoop. They’re not so cold that they hurt your teeth to bite into, they’re surprisingly soft, and they have a great fruity flavour that compliments the creamy frozen yoghurt. I was worried the peach chunks would be frozen solid like little ice cubes, but they’re actually very soft and pleasant.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s a Peach fan. There’s a lovely peachy flavour complemented by the creamy yoghurt.

On the whole I tend to wear clear gel mascara as a brow tamer, but since I struggle with basic tasks these days, I loved the idea of this coloured brow mascara. It’s an easy way to skip a makeup step or to give your simple look that extra polish without much effort. I’ve had some truly awful makeup experiences, but Nyx ‘Thick it stick it’ Brow mascara delivers on it’s promises. I use a light hand and recommend you don’t overly layer it for the most realistic look.
One thing you do have to watch out for is that it can easily get on your skin, especially if you have thicker brows. So do a quick ‘clean-up’ of smears once you’ve put it on for the day and you’re good to go. It is definitely on the thicker side and I can see why some people find it ‘gloopy’, but I find a light hand and scraping off the brush (like with my mascaras made for thick lashes) gives it the perfect natural look.
It does last about 4-6 hours in my experience, though possibly with primer and sealant it might last longer. I really love that it absorbs naturally, as I hate makeup that looks weird throughout the day. This just naturally disappears and doesn’t stand out over time. If I was going for a night out, I’d use a proper eyebrow pencil, but this is fab for daily use.
The espresso colour was perfect for me. I have brunette hair (dark), but my eyebrows are a little ashy and this brought them to match my hair colour better.

I find serums can be hit and miss as they range from oily to gel-like and many shades in between. In terms of comfort of use Garnier’s Vitamin C Face Serum hits it out of the park. It has a lovely pearlescent formula that is liquid with a hint of gel-like texture to it. It absorbs instantly and without stickiness or discomfort of any kind. Measuring the amount to apply is likewise, effortless, as you just use a full dropper.
I have a pet hate when it comes to vitamin C serum’s and that’s when they turn your fingers yellow/orange. This one doesn’t do that and that makes me super happy! Everything about this Vitamin C serum is just easy, comfortable and helpful.
I used it alongside my usual skincare (micellar, toner and moisturiser) and feel it helped the overall look of my skin and that I had more of a ‘glow’ than usual.

I’ll confess I’ve never heard of Thayer’s before, but my experience with Thayer’s Witch Hazel Rose Petal Facial Toner has been a really good one. Witch Hazel is brilliant for oily skin (I have combination skin with oily sections) and a good toner is good for all skin types; this offers both. The scent is reasonably strong, but not unpleasant, it’s a lovely rose fragrance that I enjoyed a lot.
Overall, I can easily recommend this as I found in conjunction with Micellar Water that it led to a nice improvement in my skin and was very comfortable to use!

While it can be hard to tell from a brief sample, my first impressions of Covergirl Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream are really good. I’ve used Covergirl makeup, but had no idea they had skincare too. This cream ticks a lot of my personal boxes. The scent is really fresh and ‘watery’ smelling, not too perfumed or strong. The cream itself is a gel-cream type of hybrid that feels cooling, pleasant and lovely to apply, a little like aloe vera gel, but elevated. It’s not greasy or sticky and it absorbs very well.
My skin was left soft and nice afterwards. While I can’t state the long-term effects, it’s definitely something I’d be interested in trying more of. I feel Covergirl’s Weightless Water Cream would be a fabulous summer cream, given it’s lightweight, cooling feel and ease of application. Definitely one you should take the chance to try!

Lady speed stick summer citrus fresh infusions

I'm a big fan of fresh, zesty, lemon scents so I was a little disappointed at this perfumey citrus scent. That being said, it's not overly strong and it's a bit of a generic, vague 'people pleaser' version of citrus, so I'm not going to rate it too harshly on that. I removed a star for the combination of the scent being a bit meh and the fact that it doesn't last 48 hours.
However, if I compared it to similarly priced deodorants on the market, it's as good as. All deodorants nowadays boast 48 hours and I've rarely tested any that actually achieve that. More often than not they handle around 18-20 hours. It's not a big issue for me because I reapply deodorant morning and evening; like most people. This Lady Speed Stick is more than capable of handling most people's smells, though those that sweat a lot or smell strongly will want to invest in something more heavy-duty. If you like a light citrus perfumed scent and want a deodorant for simple daily use; this works just fine for that.
