I received complementary samples of Viva La Juicy fragrance in exchange for my honest review. The scent is beautiful! It's quite strong when you first put it on but dissipates quickly. I find that the scent doesn't last long on me which is unfortunate because I really like it. The scent is sweet with a little floral thrown in. It's flirty and feminine, perfect for daily use and very versatile. I would wear it for work or for a night out. I'm not sure why, but I thought this perfume was for younger ladies. My thoughts have completely changed! This is a perfect scent for any age, I just wish that it would last longer on me! -

I find the scent a great pick me up in the morning. The scent is not overpowering, it doesn't last all day but does last a few hours. The packaging is lovely! -

I received this product in the scent Bois d'Orange, for free in exchange for an honest review. I don't usually like orange scents but I found that it was mixed with a woodsy scent that was pleasant. It's a great pick me up in the morning. The shower gel lathered well and did not leave my skin dehydrated. The scent didn't linger. I probably wouldn't purchase this scent but will look for other scents from this brand. -

I received samples of the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Multi-Tone Revealing Shampoo and Conditioner.
The shampoo was tinted and had a subtle fresh scent. The scent did not remain in my hair for long so this may be a good choice for people who are bothered by strong scents. It lathered nicely and rinsed out easily.
The conditioner had the same subtle fresh scent as the shampoo and was also tinted. It was pretty thick, coated my hair nicely and rinsed out completely. My hair tangles easily (I always joke that you look at it the wrong way and it tangles!), I found it easy to comb through after using this conditioner.
After drying my hair, I noticed that the different shades in my hair appeared more visible. After just one use, I'm pretty impressed. I normally have an oily scalp and dry hair, I found that my scalp was not as oily as usual on the second day and my ends were nicely hydrated. My hair was soft and manageable. The shampoo and conditioner brought out the red in my hair, leaving it beautifully shiny. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and may buy the full size.

I recently signed up for Beachbody on Demand and did a full round of 21 day fix (including the meal plan). I lost 10 pounds during the 3 weeks. I took a week off from the exercise program but kept up with the meal plan and I didn't gain the weight back. I just started doing another round. The program and the shakes are quite expensive in my opinion, but for me it works! I need something easy to follow and I'm not good at counting calories. I love the shake because I'm not a breakfast eater. I just replaced my morning coffee with the shake. I love that the exercise program offers modifiers for beginners and that I can do the 30 minute workouts whenever or wherever I want. Different things will work for different people but this works for me! -

You also get a hint of the corn flavour from the Doritos (I think it's corn...) They have a nice crunch that, to me, make them better than ketchup chips. I wish they would have them as part of their regular lineup. I always stock up when they come out! A definite re-buy for me. -

I received the Maybelline Facestudio Master Contour V-Shape Duo Stick complimentary for review (shade 010 Light). This is a jumbo stick with both the contouring and highlighting shades together. I've used it for about a week now. The packaging is cute but I'm wondering how useful it will be if I don't use both shades evenly since they are both together... The consistency is amazing! The contouring shade is perfect for my pale skin. I haven't had the best luck with cream products although I'm sure that's due to user error! I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this is to blend. The highlight shade blends in completely to my skin tone so it's a little too dark for me (pale skin problems!). I tried using the stick both under and over my foundation. I found that blending them under powder foundation works well and blending them over liquid foundation works equally well. For blending, I tried using my fingers, a beauty sponge and a brush. My favourite method was with a brush. I think that, for a drugstore product, it works really well and it's worth giving it a try! -

This is it, I finally found a nude colour that doesn't make me look sick! I received a mini size of the Marc Jacob Le Mac Lip Crème in Slow Burn in a Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip set. I've tried so many nude shades over the years but they always end up making me look like a corpse. This shade has enough pink in it to make me look alive! The packaging is cute and the lipstick does not have a scent. It's very pigmented and covers in one swipe. The consistency is creamy and it feels very comfortable on the lips. It wears well but doesn't last through eating or drinking. It fades evenly which is always a plus in my book. I hate it when lipsticks leave a ring around the lips. Although this lipstick is not moisturizing it's not drying either. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and would consider purchasing other shades. -

I received the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in the shade 1993 as part of the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip. This shade is a Comfort Matte. Wow, they weren't kidding! It's so comfortable on the lips! It feels so soft and practically melts into the lips. This shade is a mid-tone brown which isn't one of my go to colours but I wore it with khaki green and it looked great. The colour is a true matte. It glides on nicely, covers perfectly with one swipe and doesn't dry the lips. It only lasted a couple of hours (with no eating or drinking) but it wore down nicely. It didn't leave the dreaded ring around the lips look. The product does not have a scent. The packaging is a beautiful gun metal with gold base. I will definitely look into getting more shades from this line. -

I really enjoy the Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. It has almost a gel like consistency that glides on easily and sinks in quickly. Skin is immediately softer and luminous. Overtime the skin gets silkier and brighter. It diminished the appearance of scars and discoloration. I have combination skin with dry patches (especially in winter). I was surprised how hydrating it was! The fact that it sinks in so quickly makes it great under makeup. -
