I received the Drunk Elephant Lippe as part of a Drunk Elephant set purchased from Sephora. I have very dry lips and am always trying new balms and oils. This balm doesn't really have a detectable scent. The packaging is different, it's like a short and stout balm. It's a little shorter than traditional lip balms but about four times as wide. Given the size, I thought I would have a hard time applying but no, it still applied easily. The consistency seems a little thinner than more traditional balms. It glides on really well and feels silky on the lips. It's not sticky, it feels like it melts into the skin. My lips felt soft for a couple of hours after applying, after that I had to reapply. While I find it pretty moisturizing it's just not quite moisturizing enough for me for the Winter. I may buy another one in the Summer to try it again. -

Of all the nail polish removers I've tried, I find the Formula X Delete to be the best. It removes even the glitter polishes quickly without drying out the nails. I also love that it doesn't have a strong scent. The lazy part of me prefers the Formula X Delete All 5 Finger Nail Polish Remover for its convenience but the traditional remover is effective. -

Wow, the Bella Aura Gentle Purifying Cleanser is great! It has a natural kind of scent. A little goes a long way. It feels milky going on, lathers up just a little and leaves my skin feeling clean and oh so soft! I also don't feel dehydrated after using it like most other cleansers I've tried. I have combo skin and my dry patches get worse in the winter. This cleanser helped alleviate my dry patches and did not make my t-zone oily. I received a sample size and will be looking into purchasing a full size after I'm done using up all the other cleansers I have. -

It's Whipped Matte Lip mousse from Julep is very comfortable to wear. As its name would suggest, it has a beautiful whipped consistency that glides on the lips effortlessly. It feels comfortable and is not drying. It doesn't dry down completely and does not last through meals but it wears off evenly and reapplies really well. The staying power is somewhere between a liquid lipstick and a traditional lipstick. The applicator is a doe foot in a bottle shape that makes applying easy. I purchased the colour Bisou which is a beautiful pinky mauve that I love to wear day to day. I will purchase other shades. -

I received a free sample of Persil ProClean Detergent. I used it on my coloured clothes and am happy with how they turned out. I really liked the fresh scent of my clean clothes. I didn't have any stains and my laundry wasn't overly stinky so I can't say how the detergent would react under those circumstances. For my needs, it worked really well. If this detergent was the same price as my current detergent, I would switch back and forth but since it's more expensive, I will pass. -

I received a few samples of the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil. I love using it during this time of year. It helps my combination skin stay hydrated and my foundation looks flawless even on my dry patches. A little goes a long way, only a few drops is enough for my whole face. My skin looks smooth, radiant and dewy without looking oily. One drawback is that it takes a little while to sink in, I usually get dressed while it's sinking in and when I'm done my face is ready for foundation. I didn't notice a scent to the product. Once I finish my samples, I would consider purchasing a full size. -

I purchased a set of Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil and Good Genes from Sephora after hearing all the hype on YouTube. The Luna oil has an herbal smell that bothered me at first but I got used to it. It's tinted blue so you have to work it into the skin to make the tint disappear. It left my skin plump, radiant and soft. It also helped with discoloration but did not make it totally disappear. My combination skin is glowing without being too oily. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin sticky. It's pricey but a little goes a long way so the bottle lasts a long time. I use four drops every night. The bottle comes with a dropper which makes dispensing the right amount of product easy. -

Ok, I have to admit it, I'm a lip oil junkie! This is one of my favourites! I purchased the Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-in-Oil in Pink about me from Sephora. I'm not a big fan of the scent... it smells like watermelon (I know, some people may love this scent), but it's so hydrating and feels like heaven on my lips that I can forgive the scent! It's not a sticky formula, it really feels like an oil without being too slick. A pretty pink tint develops over time so that when the oil wears off you are left with a nice pink stain to your lips. The applicator is a little curved with a hole in the middle that holds the perfect amount of product for one application. As an additional bonus, the packaging is super cute. Even though it's pricey for a lip oil, I love it so much I may have to purchase other shades :) -

I purchased the Lise Watier Rouge Gourmand Holiday Set which contains a full size Grenadine (a beautiful red), and mini sizes of Prune (plum), Sucre d'Orge (neutral), Caprice (pinky plum) and Ginger Bread (bronze). Each lipstick is shiny, making it look multi-dimensional. They are so creamy but stay on for hours. They wear off evenly, leaving my lips moisturized. I am so happy I picked up this set. I will be looking for other colours to add to my collection. -
