I purchased the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in Candy Cane - Holiday Kiss Collection. (Wow, that's a long name!) I already love the non-matte version but this is my first purchase from this collection. I am very happy with it! This pinky-red shade is amazing. I also love the chocolate/peppermint scent (I'm a huge fan of anything peppermint!) It has a very thin consistency that glides on the lips really well. The colour is opaque in just one thin coat. If I let it dry completely before drinking or eating, it lasts for hours (like most liquid lipstick, it doesn't withstand eating anything oily). While it's in no way hydrating, I find it non-drying. It wears down evenly without crumbling. It will be my go-to holiday lipstick! -

I recently purchased my first Scentsy products and I love them. There is a wide selection of scents, something for everyone. I have a plug in and a tabletop warmer, one on each floor of my house. The two combined almost cover my whole house. The scents are strong enough that you smell them but not overwhelming. I was a daily candle user but I have made the switch to Scentsy. It's a lot safer since there are no flames to worry about. I don't know how many times I had to return home after leaving to make sure I had extinguished my candles. No more worries! The only thing is, they are a little pricey, but overall will cost me less than my candles. I will keep purchasing these products and recommend them to everyone. -

The conditioner had the same subtle floral scent as the shampoo and was also tinted. It was pretty thick, coated my hair nicely and rinsed out completely.
After drying my hair, I noticed that my hair had a slightly brighter tint to it. After just one use, I'm pretty impressed. I normally have an oily scalp and dry hair, I found that my scalp was not as oily as usual on the second day and my ends were nicely hydrated. My hair was soft and manageable. The shampoo and conditioner brought out the red in my hair, leaving it beautifully shiny. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and may buy the full size.

The shampoo was tinted and had a subtle floral scent. The scent did not remain in my hair for long so this may be a good choice for people who are bothered by strong scents. It lathered nicely and rinsed out easily.

I purchased the Sephora Collection Mini Cream Lip Stain Set during the VIB Rouge Fall Sale. First I have to mention how small these are. Not counting the brush they are about the height of a quarter and the width is a little bigger then a pencil, they contain .04 oz. or 1.3 ml. Despite the size, I am very happy with my purchase. The set contains four beautiful colours (Always Red, Infinite Rose, Cherry Blossom and Blackberry Sorbet). They don't transfer and wear pretty well. I only had to reapply after eating. They also wear down evenly. After eating I was left with a very light stain on my lips from the three darkest colours but no stain with the lightest colour. The consistency is mousse like and applies very well. They have a vanilla cake scent that I could smell for the first few minutes after putting on the stain but the scent went away after that. I found the formula to be pigmented, non-drying and very comfortable on the lips. Overall, great purchase! -

I've tried a few different scents of the Avon 3-wick candles. I'm pretty impress with the staying power of these scents. Some are stronger than others but they all make a mid-size room smell amazing! They burn pretty evenly but leave some wax at the bottom (this is a pet peeve of mine, why can't they keep burning until most of the was is gone?) These candle claim to have a 30 hour burn time. I haven't timed them but I think they come close but don't quite make it to 30. My best guess would be about 25. If you can find these on special then they are definitely worth it! My favourites are Salted Caramel and Dark Roast (which smells like a moka to me!) I will repurchase. -

The shampoo had a slight floral scent. The scent did not remain in my hair for long so this may be a good choice for people who are bothered by strong scents. It lathered nicely and rinsed out easily.
The conditioner had the same slight floral scent as the shampoo. It was pretty thick, coated my hair nicely and rinsed out completely.
Like the shampoo and conditioner, the in-shower treatment had a slight floral scent. I used most of the sample in my long hair as per the directions. It rinsed out completely.
After blow drying my hair, I noticed more volume than usual (usual would be no volume at all). The volume stayed through the second day. I washed my hair on the third day since it was too oily. Overall I did like the volume that was created by this trio. I had two days of volume which has never happened to me before! I had noticeable volume at the roots as well as my hair appearing thicker throughout. I will definitely purchase the full line. Because of the size of the samples, I could only use each product once, for that reason I cannot evaluate the colour care aspect.

I purchased the Beam Team Hydrate + Glow as part of an Estée edit set. I have combination skin, my t-zone is oily and my forehead is always shiny. This product may be used with or without makeup. For me both ways are too glowy. I think it would be better suited for someone with dry skin. I don't think it would replace a moisturizer but it is hydrating. It has a faint scent but nothing overpowering. It does not cover imperfections but blurs them out slightly. There is a highlighter under the cap. It's creamy and peachy in color, it adds a little bit of glow but, oddly, not enough for me. I will be passing this on to a friend or family member. Overall, a good product just not for me. -
