I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the Zarbee's Immunity Syrup for free in exchange for an honest review. Gonna be extra honest here, my kid tried it once and then said "yeah, no thanks." She didn't like the taste and thought the idea was kind of wack. Obviously I'm not going to force her to take something that isn't medically necessary, so I kind of just put it on the back burner. Not sure if it would have worked or not with occasional usage? Would be nice if it did, but we'll never know. Sorry :/ -

I was fortunate enough to receive a free bottle of Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Anti-Aging Serum in exchange for an honest review for Butterly/Chickadvisor.
I wanted to love this, I really did. Lancome is a prestige brand, so I was SO excited to try out something I normally could not justify purchasing. It's $170 a pop from Sephora! Not a huge fan of the smell, but it felt nice on my skin! I used it consistently twice a day and I really didn't see a huge difference. My skin was nicely moisturized, though! Another huge issue I had was that one of the holes that the serum was dispensed from didn't work at all. I didn't see any sort of blockage, but it just wouldn't come out. After multiple attempts to get the dispenser to work, I gave up. Maybe that's why it didn't make a huge difference? Because only 2/3 of the serums were being dispensed? Who knows. Unfortunately this is a great big pass. Disappointed, because Lancome products are usually top notch.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review free PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches in exchange for an honest review.
I've used a few different brands of spot patches, and unfortunately these are my least favourite. My kiddo and I tried them, as we both had a few spots to take care of. We left them on overnight after washing our faces and patting them dry, but hooo boy they were not fun to take off. It was like ripping a bandaid off that was super stuck to your skin. Normally spot patches come off pretty easily, especially after a whole night of being on your skin, but these were rough. We also noticed the spots hadn't really decreased in size and mine seemed MORE inflamed the next day. I don't think I'll be trying these again, sorry.

I was definitely a little weirded out by the colour. It was neon yellow 🤣 but once I drank it, I could confirm it tasted better than it looked. Very mango-y. My only complaint is that you can definitely taste the sugar substitute, erythritol. It has that artificial sweetener aftertaste. It was pretty refreshing on a hot day, but I don't know if I'd be buying it on the regular.

I was chosen to provide an honest review in exchange for a free Van Houtte® Brew Over Ice Black Classic 10 pack of K-Cups. Flavour wasn't bad, but when I read the box I was expecting it to have a bit of sweetness or something because it said the products was "flavoured." I guess it meant coffee flavoured? I brewed it over nearly an entire tray of ice cubes but it still ended up being pretty warm. What else would I expect if I'm using hot coffee 🤣🤷♀️🤦♀️
I let it cool in the fridge for a few hours. Threw it in my travel mug with more ice and a bit of cream and it was pretty decent. I'll probably just brew it normally and put it in the fridge overnight like I usually do with ice coffee. Probably won't buy it in the future, though.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste Gel Repair Reverse Refresh toothpaste from Chickadviser/Butterly. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box I received for the review, and saw that it was my usual brand of toothpaste! I've been using this exact kind for a number of months. I drink a lot of tea, so it helps keep my teeth from looking stained. It's also minty as all heck, so your breath is fresh for a long time. My only real issue with it is that it is REALLY minty. I don't mind, but my kiddo does not love how spicy it is. I use it twice a day and have regular dental checkups, and my hygienist and dentist are happy with the overall health of my mouth. Highly recommend! -

This is a fantastic product, especially with many parents being affected by the children's dose of acetaminophen shortage! My kiddo is going through some serious growing pains in their knees right now. They're 11, so they're right at the cusp of using small adult doses, but this dosage amount seemed to work fine. They snipped the packet, poured it into their mouth, and voila! 30 mins later no knees pain! Worked like a charm. Their only complaint was that it didn't taste great. It also feels pretty wasteful to have a bunch of little packets, instead of a bottle/pump that can combine the two serums upon pumping. Was not a fan of the smell at ALL. It reminded me of old, smelly creams from the 90s. Didn't notice a huge difference in brightness, smoothness, or texture. Skin pretty much felt the same. I'm normally a BIG Clarins fan, but this one is a miss. I do appreciate the opportunity to review the product for free from Butterly/Chickadvisor, though! -

I'm a big Shu Uemura fan, so you can imagine how excited I was when I found out I was chosen to review the cleansing oil for free in exchange for a review for Chick Advisor/Butterly. I found that a little bit goes a long way, no need to pour it out like crazy. Just a wee bit does the trick. I liked the smell, and the way it felt during application. It left my skin feeling soft, and not greasy at all. Probably one of my fave cleansing oils! -

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara! I'm always stoked to receive free products in exchange for reviews, especially mascaras. I'm a mascara HOUND.
This past weekend, my family and I attended an anime convention. Of course my kiddo and I *had* to get the best cosplays together. Part of that is making sure I have long lasting mascara, that plumps the heck out of my lashes. The formula wasn't too runny or too thick, and I really liked the applicator. It was on the larger side, but that was a good thing! I was able to evenly coat my lashes without any gnarly clumps. I would also like to add that this mascara stood up to some seriously grody conditions. 3.5 hours on the pavement in 35 degree weather in the direct sun while wearing a hot as hell costume, waiting to get in to the convention had me SWEATING. My mascara did not budge. I would definitely buy this again!
