What's On Your Face, Maggie?

Tell us about you!

I am the National Account Manager at ChickAdvisor.  I live in Toronto with my husband Mike and our two children - Will 7 and Kate 5.

What do you wash your face with? What moisturizer do you use?

I wash my face with Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser. We receive a lot of products here at ChickAdvisor. Every so often, I get to be a tester - a perk of the job! This one was given to me back in December, and since that time has become my number one! In fact, it is the only cleanser I use now. I like it because it gives my face a real fresh look and it never dries out my skin. Getting myself and two kids out the door every morning can be challenging. That being said, I have to be super fast and organized when it comes to my morning routine. I use Clarins Vital Light Illuminating Anti-Aging Day Cream on my face. My friend Lauren (who has incredible skin) recommended it to me a year or two ago. I have been faithful to this cream ever since!

Describe your morning routine? Tell us everything you put on your face.

In terms of make-up, I keep it really simple. I wear Bobbi Brown Blush in Pretty Pink on my cheeks. Then I use Benefit They're Real mascara on my eyes. Lastly, it's a quick swipe of Lip Enhancing Gloss, by Smashbox and I'm good to go out the door.

If you need to get foxy in seconds, what is the one product you reach for?

I like to get that fresh 'n' clean feel, so I will brush my teeth and then spritz myself with a squirt of Chloe Eau de Parfum - my favourite fragrance of all time!

Do you share any of Maggie's go-tos?

I am getting closer to the age where I'm seriously looking at anti-aging products to try to prevent any more crow's feet from showing up as I'm already starting to see. And being 35 weeks pregnant, I'm already starting to develop the dreaded mommy sleep deprived eye bruises.

Currently my beauty routine consists of washing my face with Cerave foaming facial cleanser followed by Cerave moisturizing lotion (and I take it from my face all the way down to my chest and to my ears). I use my Neutrogena spf 15 when I plan to go outside for longer than just to take the dogs out for 5 minutes. I've found that even driving to a friend's house 45 minutes away I got a slight sunburn on my nose when I didn't have sunscreen on (because I figured I was staying out of the sun anyway), but light does pass through car windows! I've tried to get my husband to use spf, but it's like talking to a brick wall. He rarely even washes his face.

After I'm done breastfeeding (not sure if I can use retinals while breastfeeding) I'll be looking at more serious anti-aging creams.

Every night and morning I use products on my face/neck area. I have a variety of Neutrogena products and I use DeepCleanCreamCleanser at night and FreshFoamingCleanser first thing in the morning. After a few weeks using both (and oil-free makeup remover / pore scrub & body lotion every now and then) I fell deeply in love with it all. Now, I have a huge collection of Neutrogena and I use it regularly!! =) We All Have Our Own Special Products For Our Own Special Skin!! =)

I've always wanted to try that mascara but it always seems so expensive. I hear it's worth it though

They're Real is my favorite mascara, too. The picture reminded me of the Clarins moisturizer that is sitting in my washroom...I'll give it a try again, and see why it was put away.
