Reef-friendly mineral sunscree

This 50 SPF sunscreen features a bottle with Smart Cap technology, where the cap will change colour in harmful UV light. To me this is brilliant because instead of arguing with your child why they need sunscreen when it’s cloudy, you can just refer to the color changing cap and there’s no room for argument. This sunscreen is also reef-friendly, which will be great for beach vacation as it does not harm the environment. Having said that, this sunscreen is only water resistant, and it definitely does not last 80 mins as indicated on the bottle. I also find it a bit greasy, which makes it unpleasant to use.

I wouldn’t use this as an everyday sunscreen, but would use it for beach vacations and will apply it often to prevent sunburn.

Nice coverage, horrible weather!

Unfortunately, I live in Newfoundland Canada.. where it feels like we haven't seen the sun since last year, so I was unable to test the effectiveness of the product as a sunscreen or whether it was water resistance. I also tried to take it outside with me to see the colour changing cap effects but I didn't see any change. This could be due to the fact that no harmful UV light was present or it was not exposed for long enough.
Notwithstanding that sad fact, the sunscreen went on very silky and did not have a harsh residue feeling (not greesy). There was absolutely no smell to it, which would be nice for me to wear for work as I work in a scent free environment.
I also had no reaction to the product and I do have sensitive skin, so that is always a bonus.
One of the downfalls for me is that the spout is a little too large which made the lotion come out too quickly. A little goes a long way with this, in my opinion, and I felt like a little squeeze was even too much and that would mean wastage over time.
Overall, I didn't feel like I was wearing sunscreen but more like a heavy moisturizer, so I would recommend if you are looking for a light weight sun screen that is in a lotion format.
I will revisit testing this product once we see the sun again as most importantly for me in a sunscreen is whether it protects my skin!

Love that the Blue Lizard Australian Sensitive Sunscreen is paraben free! I also appreciated that it melted into my skin very well without leaving a white cast. My skin feel fresh and prepared for the day with the Blue Lizard Australian Sensitive Sunscreen!

Very nice would recommend

Would recommend this product very nice and clean feeling lasts as long as it said it would in regards to the waterproofing. Would be cool if it lasted longer but it's about the same time frame as others so pretty good

FEELS AND WOTKS LIKE NO OTHER

Onky had a chance to use it twice. Great in my skin, my teen used it on vacation why review is Karen and she is looking to buy more. It was great the best sunscreen I've ever used and we've used a lot of brands. Not only, worked great. Got a little tan, no redness ajd was in hot sun daily. No issues woth sensitive skin. Iys definitely a new choice in my home. I recommend trying this

Quality you can feel!

The packaging is simple and cute with a little lizard on it. I loved that the lid alerts you to harmful rays by changing color. It sets my mind at ease knowing rhis is environmentally friendly with no harmful parabens. It is unscented which is nice, and it is thick but not too thick. My face felt revitalized and not greasy and I felt ready for the days rays.

Best sunscreen for sensitive skin!

Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen is very lightweight and super effective. It is absorbed really fast and it doesn't feel greasy. I used it with my daughter, which has very sensitive skin. Love it.

Ecosensible

Je suis satisfaite de ce produit en ce qui concerne le côté environnemental. Toutefois, côté cosmétique on y repassera. L'odeur rappelle la crème solaire traditionnelle, sans parfum, ce qui est parfait pour les allergies et les peaux sensibles! Elle a un texture plus liquide que les écrans solaire de type "physique" elle est donc plutôt facile à étendre à faire disparaitre la couleur blanche. Là où elle gagne des points selon mes enfants, c'est pour son bouchon qui change de couleur au contact des rayons UV. Ils sont conscients de la présence des rayons lorsque le bouchon prend une couleur rosâtre/mauve.

Bon produit

J’ai bien aimé le produit par contre, il laisse un peu de couleur blanche après utilisation. Il faut vraiment bien frotter pour qu’elle pénètre la peau.
