You know those little, everyday annoyances that just get under your skin? I think my number one pet peeve must be tangled jewelry. This happens every vacation and there's just something about seeing those chains all knotted up that drives me crazy. Sure, they aren't major issues but don't they just make you want to go, 'argh!'?

Well, today we're trying to solve those pesky little life issues with our round up of 10 easy peasy life hack DIYs that just make things a little simpler:

1. Use two Q-tip and elastic bands to help squeeze out tooth paste.

2. An old sock can be cut up and used to hold a phone or an iPod during a workout.

3. Travelling with jewelry? Avoid tangled chains by stringing through a stiff straw.

4. Use a hair clip to bind earphones so you can easily unwrap.

5. The best way to eat Chinese food:

1. Use sandpaper and wipe knitwear gently to remove pilling.

2. Freeze a wet sponge in a plastic baggie for a makeshift ice pack.

3. Use a sanitary napkin package to carry around important documents or cash so they won't get stolen!

4. Before leaving the house in a new pair of shoes, apply clear gel deodorant on stiff areas that give you blisters.

5. Packing a suit made easy:

I used to use straws for my necklaces, but I now use a face cloth or a microfibre eyeglass cleaning cloth.
I just roll them up, one by one so they don't overlap, doubling over the ones with longer chains. Then I can gently fold the roll in half and put it in whatever tiny makeup case of jewellery holde rI'm travelling with.
I like this better because it keeps both ends of the chain secure, and prevents the pendants from getting scratched.

The straws for jewelry! Ahh why haven't I thought of this!? That's always my biggest problem, thanks so much for sharing. The sock ipod holder and clip to hold earbuds are also really neat ideas, will be using most of these hacks!

I love these hacks! I'm with ya on the tangled necklace problem so that's my favourite one but I also really like the sock iPod holder.
