Coco Song: Seriously Exotic Eyewear

Posted by Ali | Wednesday October 3, 2007 Leave a comment

We recently had the pleasure of attending the launch of Coco Song, an Italian made handcrafted eyewear collection inspired by Chinese symbology. Though we were blessed with freakishly good eyesight and don't need prescription lenses, these gorgeous one of a kind creations made us wish we did.

The collection incorporates vivid colors, silk, leaves and feathers. Each color has a meaning: Blue for tranquility, Red for joy and love, Green to express creativity, Pink for sweetness and tenderness, White for pureness and Black for finess. Yellow represents power and is also considered the Emperor's colour.

The intricate details on each piece are very impressive right down to the intricate nose pads. They also carry a small collection of sunglasses.

Most importantly each piece is unique, designed with the individual in mind.

Styles range from $350-$450 and are available at Josephson Opticians starting this week.

Oh, and by the way, since Josephson only carries one of each frame, you needn't worry about that copy cat co-worker stealing your style. Nice!
