Olivia Wilde seems like that girl who is always impossibly pretty while being totally down to Earth. Like a girl next door but she can also pull off any couture label. She'll wear Chanel like nobody's business and down a beer at the same time. For this, I have always been jealous of her. 

Now, I have another reason. 


She may be one of the only women I know who can look this sophisticated while playing up not one, but two major features. At the London premiere of the film Rush, she got away not only with a bold, matte lip but also a gorgeous smoldering, smoky eye. Here's the best part: she wasn't over done. She managed to look cool, modern and subtle by balancing out the textures and colours in the look. 

Her eyes were a great blend of purples, greens and bronzes and in beautiful sheer layers, so it isn't too heavy. Just hints of colour and beautiful highlighting. I love how she didn't use liner so the look is fresh. 

Topping this off, she chose a matte red lip - excellent choice. Opting out of a gloss makes the look more fashion forward and not too OTT. It works well since her shadows have metallic sparkle to them.
