My very own tip is to french braid your hair before you go to bed. Tighter braids if you want more tight waves, and looser for loose beachy waves. You'll wake up in the morning with chic soft waves, and no hassle of having to straighten it, etc. Compliments always come by me whenever I do my hair like that, with everyone asking how i did it, when in fact it was very simple.
