Jeanne Beker launches EDIT

Posted by Nikki | Wednesday September 1, 20109 comments

Fashion Television host Jeanne Beker will be launching her own clothing line, EDIT, exclusively at The Bay this September.

She's quick to state that she has not taken on the role of a designer - she's an editor. She took her pick of favourite pieces and altered them the way she would like to wear them.
The collection is 25 pieces, mostly black and white. She added a deep red for a pop of colour and one camel piece for fall.

Prices range from $79 to $195; Beker wants this to be an affordable line for women.

Will you be picking up a Jeanne Beker EDIT item this September?

Some people just have no
class, or manners for that matter.

Apparently no one ever told these so called women, if you don't have anything
nice to say then keep your big mouths shout!!

Who are you three to be judging others on here that you don't even know. You all
leave your self's sounding like nothing but ugly people that have nothing
better to do then to bully others and all because you don’t like something that
other’s on here do. What are you ten!! Its find if you don't like Jenny Becker,
we all don't like every thing that others do, but why go on to leave ugly
comments about the rest of us that are on this web site. <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Sharon calling Ali ugly was completely
uncalled for and just showed all of us how much of an ugly person you truly are.
If you three aren’t happy with this web site then don’t come on here, it’s as
simple as that. In the mean time grow up and keep your ugly comments to your
self’s!!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I can't believe Fashion Television is celebrating its 25th anniversary this weekend. I was telling my Dad about Jeanne Beker's new line and he was incredibly excited because apparently he remembers her wayyy back before FT, when she was a weather girl on the news. I definitely grew up watching her and have the utmost respect for her and everything she's accomplished!

See, I find these pieces to be just too tame. I could possibly go for the jacket in the first picture, but everything else is kind of yawn.

I love Jeanne's new clothing line, and definitely have a huge amount of respect for her as a strong, Canadian career woman! She has some great pieces that are designed for today's woman, at affordable prices. I will definitely be buying a few pieces from her line.
GO JEANNE!!!

I like Jeanne Beker. My bf who used to work at Fashion Television got to work with her and he really respects her. She seems like a strong women who is driven and has built herself a wonderful career. I think the pieces look great for career women at affordable prices, how can you go wrong?

Ouch! I actually have a lot of respect for Jeanne. She's worked so hard and built an amazing career for herself and done a lot for the Canadian fashion industry. I've met her at events but I don't know her personally.

The pieces are great quality and very reasonably priced. That earns some credit, no?
