Beery breath, Tex-Mex hot wings and sweaty guys may be the sweet scent of Sunday afternoon football to your hubby, but if that cringe-worthy aroma is still lingering come Thursday, it’s time to take action – pronto.

When Eau de Sweaty Man leaves you desperate for an excuse to leave the house, Febreze wants to help with its Febreze NOTICEables pluggable air freshener. It’s a scented oil warmer that helps eliminate odours and alternates between two complementary scents to keep your home smelling fresh for up to 30 days.  But all bets are off when it comes to Bob, the high school buddy who crashed on your couch and refuses to leave.  (Sorry, Febreze can’t help you there…)

Don’t forget – Super Bowl XLV just wrapped up, but March Madness basketball is on the horizon.  Better to be prepared, no?

Want in on the action?  200 Canadian members of our Product Review Club will put Febreze NOTICEables to the test. If you are interested in being selected as a tester, please take a moment to complete this short survey.

Not a member of our Product Review Club yet?  Click here for full details and to sign up now!

And for those of you who can’t wait to try something new, you can trade up from your old pluggable air freshener to a Febreze NOTICEables warmer for FREE* after a mail-in rebate. Check out Febreze.ca for full details!
(*limit one per household, offer ends 6/30/2012 with your original package UPC and sales receipt).

I've said it before but I'll say it again (cause I'm happy to finally have a site for Canadians that is active and gives us amazing opportunities) I'm proud that Canadians can finally have an awesome review site to call our own and be actually be based in Canada employing fellow Canadians (not to mention its strong base of female employees). Maybe one day in the future chickadvisor will branch off into the US for marketing purposes and will give US members an opportunity. This site more so caters to Canadians.I could suggest a few American sites similar to chickadvisor(but will refrain from doing so as I'm not gonna spam other websites) as there are quite a few just do a Google search.

Hi all! We just wanted to clarify that Febreze NOTICEables is a pluggable air freshener, not a "plug-in" air freshener. It's a trademarked distinction, so we just wanted to let you know :)

And speaking of fresh air, has anyone else noticed that those groundhogs who promised us an early spring were clearly eating expired hamster kibble? No sign of spring yet - ugh.

On first look, the upcoming Febreze website offer to send in your old pluggable air freshener for theirs, sounds good. On closer look, the fine print says they want original UPC package and sales receipt. It's not reasonable to expect anyone to have kept the packaging and receipt past the first day.

It seems to me that Febreze is generating a lot of free publicity (all of us excited about their generous offer!) for naught. Very few of us will be able to benefit from this, due to their imposed conditions. Who keep a tiny receipt and packaging for months or years?

If a company is going to offer something, (which, of course, ties the consumer into buying their refills forever more) then it should be sincere.

Hi everyone, thanks for your responses!

To our American and other international readers, we do understand that it's frustrating to not have the same opportunities as our Canadian readers. As we are a Canadian-based company, most of our clients are marketing to their Canadian audience. Even in the case of a trans-national brand, their marketing department is often purposely divided by country so each agency can adapt to regional differences. It's this mandate that sometimes requires ChickAdvisor to select Canadians only.

We wish that every opportunity could be available to all. However, there are many American-based offers out there that exclude Canadians, so it does go both ways. We were happy to promote a cross-border opportunity recently for Clairol's new Color Blend Foam giveaway via Facebook, and we continue to look for chances to partner with American marketing teams.

Thanks for your patience!
