Spring/Summer 2012 Makeup Trends
Fall may be known for dramatic makeup, but spring is when you can really play with colours and textures. This spring has a lot to offer for gals who like to glam it up. Here are a few notable trends that caught our attention:
Don't even get me started on bright nail polish. I love to wear yellows, oranges, bright blue or pink on my nails. It's just so fun and can liven up an otherwise boring outfit. Bright lipstick can be really flattering, especially on pale skin tones. But if you find it too brash, you can opt for a sheer gloss, butter or tinted balm. We love these colours:

 | Sephora and Pantone got together and came up with tangerine lipstick and glosses. I'm not a huge gloss person so I tried on the bright orange lipstick....and it was LOVE! I'm sure I don't need it, but I wanteditsobad so I went ahead and bought it. It's *beautiful*. So moisturizing and pigmented! It looks scary in the tube (bright-bright orange) but looks really wearable and fun on the lips. Highly recommend this lipstick! :-) I'll write a proper review once I've worn it for a week or two. |
