Yay or Nay: Kesha's Metallic Suit

I'm not sure why I would have expected anything less than this outfit from Kesha. It's not great - glad that's out of the way - but it is totally Kesha (aka Ke$ha), I'll give her that.

The problem with this outfit is that she has way too many trends going on. Metallics! Headpieces! Lilac lips! Collars! Round glasses! It's like everything she is wearing is screaming for attention and it's too much to hear any of it.

We've often talked about the importance of a great statement piece that becomes a focal point and brings interest to an outfit. However, in this ensemble, Kesha has about 4 statement pieces going on and it's just way too over the top.

A metallic pair of trousers or even a metallic blazer could actually work, but all together (with the glasses, a collar and a headpiece thrown in) I find it becomes a bit trashy. On the plus side though, I've seen Kesha look a lot crazier. And this makeup and hair look would actually not be all that bad on it's own, so maybe she just needs some encouragement.
