Yay or Nay: Solange Knowles does Florals, Stripes and Leather
The great thing about Solonage Knowles is that she is not afraid to take bold risks with her wardrobe. I mean, this girl is notorious for mixing crazy patterns, prints, colours and textures. And let's just point out that she has got A LOT going on in this outfit, not to mention the hair. Okay Chickas, check it out and we'll discuss:
Well, that's a pretty unique outfit if I do say so myself... question is: did she get it right or wrong? I've gotta say that I'm feelin' the pops of orange in her blazer and on the shoes and lips!
What about those baggy leather pants. Are they working with the floral shirt and matching blazer? I'd like to commend her on the floral-stripe combination.
But then there's the hair... do those braids ever come to an end? I get that shes trying to do something new, but I'm definitely a bigger fan of the big, crazy blowout she had going on before.
Best part of this out fit for me? The shoes. They look great on her and she's tying them together with the orange in the blazer. What do you think of Solange's mixing and matching? Would you try a mix like this in your next outfit?

 | If the pants were only different / tighter, then it would be a yay. I really like the matching she's doing up top; it's different but it works, and the shoes balance it out. However those baggy leather whatever they are just aren't doing it for me. And I agree with you about the hair...it looks pretty heavy, her head has a dangerous tilt to it! |
 | I have to agree with you about her shoes, I also really like them on her, but I'm not feeling her top. There's just to much going on with it for me. I also think her pants would look nicer if they weren't so baggy on her. I don't mind her hair like this, I think she pulls it off well. |
