I have this eye crayon in the colour Camel Back, a champagne type hue, I just got it the other day and since then it has become my go to colour. This is an eyeshadow crayon, waterproof and it promotes itself as lasting 12 hrs. It does live up to this, it's very long lasting and it's actually pretty difficult to come off with simply just water. You need to use an oilier eye makeup remover for it. I love the fact that its a crayon because its so simple to apply in a few swipes. You it's easy to control as opposed to a powder shadow.
I've found that it isn't incredibly pigmented, you don't get the shade of the pencil itself, it's a bit lighter so you just need to layer definitely. I really like this as an all over lid colour and then I apply lighter shadow in the inner corner and brow and a darker shadow colour in the crease. It's great as an everyday, basic colour that just adds a little definition to your eyes. It's a wonderful price point at C$4.98 and I think I will pick up more!

This film is being released Feb 14th 2013 in theatres, ChickAdvisor attended a free screening of this film courtesy of their PR team.
So I need to preface this review by saying: I wasn't a huge fan of this movie but I'm not exactly the demographic for it. If you're the type to be into this type of film, then you're really going to like it which is why I am going to recommend it.
It's in the same vein as Twilight or anything along those lines. Lots of dramatic forbidden love infused with the supernatural. I will say that I have seen the first Twilight movie and I was not a fan and I did like this one better. I thought it was smarter and the dialogue was better, it had some cute, funny parts too.
For a bit of background, the story centers around a young boy who is bored with his small town, southern, conservative upbringing until he meets a mysterious girl who comes from the rumoured 'satan worshipping' outcast family in town. They fall in love but this mysterious girl, Lena has some secrets.
The acting is a bit lack luster but Alden Ehrenreich, who plays Ethan the main character really stands out, he was very charming. And Emma Thomson plays a crazy evil lady very well.
It's not the best movie and at times it is very cheesy but fans of Twilight will enjoy this.

Heavenly Crisp Hazelnut bars are only 120 calories- yay!!!! They have wafers layered with hazelnut cream and covered in chocolate. They're pretty yummy and great in a pinch when you want chocolate but you don't want the guilt. I'm not crazy about the price, they are sold as single-serve bars (starting at $0.99) and multipacks (starting at $3.79). For that price, I kind of want a really luxe chocoalte bar. This wouldn't be my first choice, I;d go for a piece of dark chocolate over this but they're still pretty yummy. -

This is a bit of a weird product because it's a shimmer/illuminator liquid and it can be used before or after a foundation or concealer. I usually use it before to add a bit of highlight and some sparkle to my face. It's a bit too shimmery than I would normally go for, I can definitely see sparkle on my fingers after I apply. But it adds some shine to my face and I like the idea of looking more awake and fresh. I have used this after a foundation/concealer as well and you can see the illumination but I am not a fan of the liquid formula. I prefer a solid, highlighting stick.
It comes in four shades and it's about $7. I don't know if I will continue buying this, it is a good price and a little goes a long way but I am pretty loyal to my current highlighter. I might consider switching it up solely for the price though.

I received this to review and I used it a few times but kind of to my disappointment. First, the shampoo and conditioner are very hydrating and moisturzing. I could feel a difference in my hair. It was much softer. However, from the title, I expected it not to have so much weight on my hair. My hair definitely didn't have as much volume. My roots especially, where my hair is less damaged were really flat. Looking at the ingredients, this contains coconut oil and coconut oil is an ingredient that is very heavy and I have used it before on its own and it does something similar. That being said, I have to say that this may work for you if you have very dry, damaged or hair that doesn't require that volume to it but with curly hair, you definitely do. Also, I'm not a fan of the fact that it contains sulfates. I did receive this for free, but the price is about 15 or 16 which I think is a bit too pricey. I wouldn't purchase this but I would recommend for someone which the right hair type. -

I went to the drugstore looking for Eucerin Aquaphor and I found this instead which was handy because my skin happened to be very dry and I needed an everyday moisturizer.
What I like about this cream is that it is heavier and not a gel formula so I find it more moisturizing. At the same time it isn't too much that I can't use in daily or in the mornings. I was worried that the 5% urea would make me break out but I haven't found that at all. What I don't like is that I feel like towards the end of the day, it just gets absorbed and the hydration doesn't last. I find this cream is good short term, on a day to day basis but it doesn't do anything long term.
Price wise it isn't bad, I bought it on sale for about $10 but I actually use a fairly large amount and the bottle isn't huge but I think I will purchase it again.

I received the Bite Matte Creme Lipstick in Pastille Lavender from the Spring 2013 Pastille Collection to review.
Though it says its a matte, it's actually more of a semi-matte. This shade is pretty sheer too. I have tried this lipstick in other colours and they are more pigmented but I did find that the colour in the tube isn't exactly what you get on your lips.
Because it is sheer and semi matte, it isn't too drying which is nice. It contains essential oils to make it more moisturzing but it's important to take note that these aren't lip balms. What I like about these lipsticks the most is the fact that they use food grade, natural ingredients and they have anti oxidants to fight wrinkles. I also really like that these are made in Toronto and its a Canadian company.
I would try these again, there are matte lip crayons that I am eyeing at the moment. The price is high but not as high as other brands.

It is a 'day' serum, but I usually use it at night. I think, and I might be wrong on this, but the day makes it less intensive and harsh because you'll be in the sun and I like this fact because vitamin c is usually for anti ageing which, when you don't need can make you breakout but I don't find that happening at all with this serum. This isn't too strong and I find that it really works to make my skin brighter. I notice a difference in dark spots too.
It is a bit more than I would pay normally, but you do get a pretty large amount. If I find this on sale or in stores, I think I will buy again.

I love breakfast sandwiches. Like, if it was up to me and socially acceptable, they would be all I would eat. But making a breakfast sandwich every morning is time consuming and buying one can get expensive. I saw these frozen sandwiches in the frozen food aisle at my grocery store and decided to buy them just to test them out. I wasn't expecting much, actually I expecting a major fail and to have soggy, icky bread but actually these were really tasty, especially for a frozen meal! They don't even taste microwaved. I bought the original flavour with sausage and egg (but they have two other flavours: Egg with Vegetables & Pepper Jack Cheese and Egg, Ham & Pepper Jack Cheese) and everything tastes surprisingly fresh. They only take a minute and a half to cook which is awesome too. Great for rushing out the door. Bonus is the low cal count- from 170-240 calories each.
The one downfall is the price. I bought a box on sale for $4.00 and there are only 2 sandwiches in a box. Which made them (on sale) $2 each which is kind of pricey for a frozen product when you consider a Tim Hortons breakfast sandwich is about $.50 more than that. I don't know if I will buy these again, maybe once in a while if I know I have a busy week ahead.
