Roots is a great all-around brand. I have multiple pairs of their sweatpants, which are perfect for working out in or doing homework at the library. I also have a couple t-shirts that are basic but practical. This brand is great if you love the outdoors, comfortable clothes, and want to rep Canada. Their grey sweatpants are so iconic!! -

I always feel so inspired when I go to Ikea. The store is set up so that the products are put together into a cohesive, realistic "room," that you can then recreate in your own home. It's really easy to be tempted into buying a whole ton of homegoods that you don't realistically need! Ikea is a great place for those in their early/mid 20s to get trendy starter furniture and decor for their first apartments. The cafeteria is also BOMB and their food prices can't be beat!! -

I found this set for a STEAL at Winners last year: $25! It includes 3 small carboard palettes, including eyeshadows as well as a blush, bronzer, and highlight. It also has a mini size of the BTS mascara, which I found out I really love!! The palettes aren't quite up to the standard of Too Faced's permanent palettes, like the Chocolate Bar, but they're still good. I like that they are designed to be split up and given to your friends as Christmas gifts. Of course, I had to keep all of them for myself, though! ;) -

I bought my Modern Ren palette over a year ago and I don't use it nearly as much as I thought I would. At the time, there weren't as many warm/red palettes available, but now the market is oversaturated with them so you can find similar palettes for a fraction of the cost of this one (for example, the Rose in the Air palette from Wet n Wild, $5). The shadows make a huge mess when you dip your brush into them and you have to tap your brush off a LOT before putting it to your eye because of how powdery it is. You get a lot of fallout on your cheeks, too. I also really don't like the packaging; it's a velvety texture that gets dirty really easily. All that being said, I really like the colour story of this palette and you can get lots of pretty and versatile looks out of it, from natural to glam. -

I wanted to stop drinking dark-coloured sodas (like Coke/root beer) to prevent my teeth from getting more stained. Canada Dry makes my favourite ginger ale, and their diet version is no exception! In fact, I can't even taste the difference between the two, so I now exclusively buy the diet version so I can cut back on those empty calories. The floss is slightly thick and waxy so you can get a good grip on it and it's strong enough to pull out food pieces stuck between teeth. I recommend getting the 2-piece value pack if it is available! -
