I coloured my hair using L'Oreal Healthy Look Crème Gloss (which is only supposed to last 28 shampoos) and my colour lasted far more than that! While I am sure some credit goes to the hair colour itself, I give some credit to the excellent shampoo and conditioner.
I love love LOVE the scent of both, particularly the conditioner which has rosemary in it. I know it sounds weird, but you must give it a try, it’s a refreshing and delicious scent!
My only complaint (which is albeit very minor) is the bottles. They are very weak, with solid plastic lids which makes squeezing the product out very challenging, especially when you come to the end of your bottles. I would STRONGLY suggest L'Oreal work on this because I was so frustrated struggling with the bottles during some showers that I may not buy it again, and choose another brand that maintains my freshly coloured hair.
It's a little pricy (at about 9.99 a bottle) but it lasts a long time and is effective so that is definitely worth it!
Overall I think this is a great product and I definitely recommend it to my all hair colouring friends out there!

I waited forever to review this product because I just could not make up my mind about whether or not I liked it. I supposed that right there tells you everything you need to know…
I am always switching deodorant brands because I have never been truly satisfied with anything I have used. Most work for a while and then stop being as effective, so I switch. Anyway I decided to try out one of the clinical versions that every brand seems to be coming out with. I went with Dove because I use their deodorant most frequently and I trust them.
I was simply not blown away. I did not find this product worked any better than your average deodorant, and for more than double the price I feel that it should do more than double the job. It doesn’t.
I should say (and this is something that held me back from getting the clinical version until now) is that the box states that you're supposed to apply it before you go to bed, so it can be absorbed while you sleep, and then you do not have to apply it in the morning when getting dressed. I thought that was bizarre and was worried that since I shower in the morning, I would be washing all the product off. Well, when you open the box the detailed instructions explicitly state that this is not the case. So if that same concern is holding you back, fear not.
(However I should note that it felt really weird to have bare underarms in the morning. I definitely felt like I was missing something. I suppose if I had experienced incredible results, this would not have been the case).
Overall I can't say that I recommend this product. I am not going to say it doesn't work, because it works as well as your average deodorant, but if you're looking for something spectacular, I would save your money.

A while back I was lucky enough to attend the L'oreal Gloss and Glamour Gala, where I was among the first to try L'oreal's Healthy Look Colour Gloss for myself. My hair had never been coloured before, so naturally I was super nervous. But I soon found out that my nerves were unnecessary – healthy look is not a permanent hair dye (it washes out after approximately 28 shampoos) so even if you don’t totally love it, its not permanent!
My hair is as dark as you can get … BLACK. I was afraid that the colour gloss wouldn't make a difference in my hair, but it really did! I used 4AR Cool Chestnut Brown and my hair came out dark reddish brown, with a hint of golden shine.
Seriously I cannot applaud L'oreal enough for the shine factor here. It is INCREDIBLE!!! I was already blessed with naturally shiny hair, but this colour definitely steps it up a notch!
For me the colour lasted more than the 28 washes, because I have been using L'oreal's Everpure Shampoo and Conditioner system, however even though it has been more than a couple of months, hints of the colour are still there. I am not sure if this would be the case for everyone, but just know that the colour may not 100% come out despite the fact that it is temporary. It is most certainly not as noticeable now as it was when I first coloured it, but in some lights (especially bright office fluorescent lighting) it still shines reddish brown.
Overall using L'oreal's Healthy Look Colour Gloss was a great experience. I cannot believe how glossy and gorgeous it made my hair look. I would recommend it without a doubt to anyone who has never coloured before, or even to those who have but want to experiment with a different colour.

This is by far my favourite Burt's Bees lip balm! I have tried all of them and I can safely say this one is the most effective. (The Honey version is a close runner up, but I find that the scent a little strong – kind of like a beeswax candle — so I reach for the replenishing one given the chance; and the original peppermint is good, but I find that its too waxy, and needs to be heated in your pocket or hand before its really workable – not ideal!)
The Replenishing Lip Balm has a mild pomegranate scent (if it truly smells like pomegranate or not is questionable in my opinion, but no matter…), the reddish tint it gives your lips is subtle, and its smooth and soft every time. Not to mention that your lips feel gloriously hydrated after use. A perfect 10 in the lip balm category! Well done Burt's Bees!

I am so happy to have finally found a great sushi place in my hometown of Whitby. Oishi Sushi is located in the heart of downtown Whitby on Brock Street. The menu includes everything you would expect to find at a sushi restaurant all at a great price. I got a salad, miso soup, steamed rice, steamed vegetables, 3 pieces of shrimp and 3 pieces of vegetable tempura, 3 dumplings and 6 California rolls for less than TEN dollars!!!
The sushi is very fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. The girls who work there are adorable, and so nice. The first time I went in to get some take-out they gave me 3 extra California rolls, and some green tea while I waited. The next time I went in and sat down and I loved it. The atmosphere is lovely – very peaceful and relaxing (what is it about Japanese restaurants that always makes you feel that way?) and the girls never let your glass become empty. They were very quick and the food was excellent! They do take-out, walk in and delivery.
I will most certainly be going back and I highly recommend it to everyone in Durham who has been seeking some really good sushi at a great price with excellent service.

You don’t need two coats for excellent colour pay-off, and it lasts for almost a week without chipping. The best part is that it only cost 6 bucks (for great quality!) and I got tons of complements on the slightly unexpected shade. -

I like that it has a minty scent, and makes your lips tingle. It feels very moisturizing and stays on for a long time. My only complaint is that the sparkles stick to your lips – as sparkles tend to do – and they’re hard to get rid of. I am not sure if it actually makes your teeth appear whiter, but that aside, it is a nice gloss. I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra money considering its not terribly more special than a regular gloss, but I do like it. -
