I finished the book, kinda disappointed in the ending, it was good, just a bit over the top, but not enough to sway me not to read another of his books!
I just started reading James Patterson's - Womens Murder Club series, I think I actually got the recommendation from one of the books you marked 'to read' on the GR site. So thank you, because I am enjoying the 1st book.

I work in the Oil Sands in Alberta. So it's site based work, on rotation. I work 8 days on, 6 days off. 12 hour days. Those are long and killer, but the money is really good. I live in camp while I am here, and they fly me back and forth to Calgary. My job title is CSU Business Support Coordinator. Basically my job is to make sure they have buildings for office space and lunch space, trucks to drive, furniture, IT, stationery. I do org charts and manpower forecasting to help with facility planning. So a little bit of everything. You would think that 12 hours for 8 days straight you would be bored out of your tree, but I tell you, I am soooooo busy most days. I have been using Chickadvisor as my distraction most days. When I can't look at another number, or don't want to deal with another safety event!

The books you are reading, are they thrillers? Or? I can't do anything scary! I won't sleep (which while I am here is bad bad bad). It was sunny on the weekend, and again today, but my office doesn't have a window, so I get up every once in a while and groan, cause I can't go out there! :)

Has the rain stopped? Do you only read suspense and thrillers or do you ever stray away from them?

I just read on the news that BC had a pretty big earth quake this morning, all okay at your end, did you guys feel anything on the island?
I also started a new book that's scraring the crap outta me, (Heart- Shaped Box) I didn't read it last night because hubby went to take the girls home late and it was late and dark out.. I am such a wimp lol
