Hey Girl!

Did not celebrate my first Mother's Day with my little girl this year as she decided to make an appearance on May 21st! We were induced on the 20th which sent everything into hyper speed and made delivery a bit crazy! Was having 8 contractions every 10 minutes with triples at one point :s the nurses were absolutely amazing though and our little Marina came out just perfect! I've never been more in love in my life

Well the appointment was uneventful. He said he would prefer not to do a cervical check unless I want one and I trust him. If he says it's better not to then I agree with him since he is a high risk doctor and I had him for my previous Pregnancy. He said she is very low and he did an ultrasound and baby was kicking up a storm and is still head down. Only 2 weeks and 2 days till my due date so even if she comes now all is well. I'm just waiting for it. I'm glad to hear your family is doing good. I will keep my fingers crossed your son doesn't get anymore cuts. It's great you guys live near a beach. I live in the city, across from a park that has a skating arena, outdoor kiddie pool, a playground, soccer field, basketball court, tennis court and indoor pool which is good but I'm from New Brunswick originally and would much prefer the beach. It's great you had your first book club meeting. How did it go? Was it what you thought it would be. I have just started to get into reading again now that my daughter will sometimes go off and play on her own and since I always seem to sleep less when I'm in my third trimester. After the baby comes I probably won't be able to stay awake.

Hey!! It went very well. I wish I knew how too put pictures on here I would show you what I planted. I finished my garden as well. Got tons planted! Spinach, Carrots, Beets, Cucumbers, Beans, Watermelon, Potatoes, Strawberries, Squash and zucchini!!!! LOL....Seems like a lot but I didn't plant a ton of each...Lots were half rows. Except the potatoes took a lot of the space. How was ur weekend?

How's the family feeling and how did your tests go? A diagnosis I hope! I see you got into Aveeno, CONGRATS! I missed out on the last 5, so here is hoping one of the next few comes through. However, my last 2 I did get picked for, Mott's and Iogo, I haven't gotten the boxes, I just got my premium box the other day and of course while I am on site, so can't even open it. Boo!

How's the reading going? I haven't read, my son got a place with his girlfriend and they got their keys on Friday, so I helped them clean and set-up and spoiled them a bit while I was at home. I flew back to site on Wednesday and they moved in on Wednesday night. They are loving it. I got them the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, I am quite impressed with the excellent job they did. The florist that is. I'll tell you, this mama was pretty sad. It was kind of a tough adjustment but I am super happy for them!

Anyway, I am off to finalize some floor plans for our buildings (just a fancy way of saying I am making sure everyone has a spot to put their arse in)! Hope it's sunny and warm where you are and you are enjoying the sun!

How are you and the family doing, is your son back to his old self and feeling better?
So, I have an infection in between my 3rd and 4th toe.. it started as poison ivy, I usually get a bit of it every spring/summer as we have it on the outskirts of our yard, I was cutting the lawn in flip flops.. not a bright move on my part. Anyway, the swelling was insane, the toes constantly rubbed and the blisters got bigger and kept popping until the skin got raw and a week later I find myself in this mess. Anyway, the pain was unbearable, I finally went to the ER, prescribed topical and oral antibiotics, can't walk or put any pressure on the foot at all. I am just an unhot mess at the moment. Super depressed that I am stuck at home, unable to move much... soooo tell me something good, new, what cha reading??
Oh I just finished reading The Woman in Cabin 10, I thought it was a great book, but was not impressed with the end, I found it to be a let down, there were so many ways it could have ended. I just started the 2nd book in the Womens Murder Club.

I just turned 37 weeks exactly today! I have been 2 1/2 cm dilated with a low cervix but she's staying in. I feel great. Just waiting around for the big day! I'm seeing the doctor every week now. I'm curious Tuesday if I will be more dilated. I have a feeling I will. How are you and your family doing?

I am so glad you both are on the mend, how did you son make out at school the last couple of days? That is so thoughtful your fam made breakfast in bed, you deserve it!!
No it hasn't arrived yet, there was a blurb in the email that said they are still waiting for some items to arrive, so I am thinking maybe another couple of weeks.
We finally made the decision to sell our house, it was as stressful week for both of us, but with the housing market booming we felt that we should try to get as much as we can, and we always talked about selling, the house is just too big for the 2 of us, if the Kids were younger and lived with us then it would be a perfect size. So the agents came through last week, we both had an asking price in mind which was pretty close to each other, I think we are going to list it high and see what happens, and then lower it after a few weeks. The market is a sellers market, so we are not going to buy. We actually went and looked at a rental house last night and took a gamble and paid for July and August.. we had to though, there is nothing available to rent either... keep your fingers crossed for us, we need to sell our house with a closing date for July if not we our out the 1st and last months rent.
The perfect world plan is to tell, rent move into the rental and then buy a piece of land and start to build. Vern is a contractor so he can do a lot of the building himself, and has connections for the other trades.. so if it works out we should save a lot of money this way!!
OM as I was tying this, I was getting really bad anxiety.. geese are we crazy to gamble like this.. uugg.... who knows!!

Poor guy, I can only image how crappy he is feeling, glad he is feeling a bit better though. How long is the recovery time for mumps? I hope your taking care of yourself too, its easier said than done though.
I just read the posts on the forum.. what the heck is going on? I can't imagine someone would be so low as to copy and paste reviews, and especially Keley's... did they not realize they would get caught??? I am wondering who it is, and if their account was removed from Chick Advisor.
I also got in for the body wash, it was a nice surprise to get the emails, the last campaign I was accepted into was the Nivea from March I think.

Oh geeze Dana, I am so sorry to hear about your son and I am hoping since you wrote in my guest book a few days ago, that you both are feeling better!!! How old is your son?
Did you get any emails today, mine came in literally a few minutes ago. One was the Maybelline campaign and I instantly thought of you and Kelsey.. I am hoping you both got in, if you didn't I am super disappointed!
I am sending healing vibes your way hun, I hope you guys are on the mend.
