I received Mentholatum No Mess Roll Vaporizing Rub Extra Strength for free to try and review. Unfortunately it arrived a few days after my kids were getting over colds/flu and after bug bite season. I was able to try it for muscle pain on myself. I was really happy and pleased with how well it worked and how quickly. First I noticed the smell, strong enough to help with congestion but not overpowering. I actually felt like each time I breathed it in, that it also seemed to help me relax a bit. Though I don't like the initial slightly cold sensation I felt when it it's applied to my back, it otherwise didn't feel heavy, oily, greasy, sticky or wet. It started working in a matter of minutes! I was pleasantly surprised that it quickly offered me some relief. It didn't completely free me from pain or discomfort but it certainly helped me to function better for a few hours. As a Mum/parent that is huge for me!
I love the format of a roll on! Mentholatum rubs work but I don't enjoy having it on my hands and trying to wash it off afterwards, so I loved not having to rub this on! This format also made it a bit easier to apply on my back and shoulders, that's a big bonus as I don't have to limited to when my husband can apply it for me. He also hates getting these on his hands and liked the idea of roll on so much better. Unfortunately we did have a few problems with roller/ball several times when he tried to apply it and it stopped moving, that was a drawback. Even with that, I would still recommend trying this. It made using a Mentholatum really was no mess, much easier and far more appealing. I look forward to trying it out with a cold or flu and bug bite season! I highly recommend it for muscle pain

I received Women's Rogaine to try fir free to review. I was excited to try it as I've had thinning hair for some time I just sort of excepted it and never did anything about it. This gave me an opportunity to try it for free for 3 months and see if might help me. In the instructions it listed that those with High Blood pressure speak with their Doctor/Pharmacist before using the product, I do, so I did. I was told just to make sure I didn't use more than called for. I was very careful to do just that. It is very easy to use and you don't need a lot. It was simple to use, wasn't smelly, greasy, sticky, or strong. All things I was concerned about. I found it very light compared to any foam or mousse hair product I've used. It didn't feel heavy or change the way my hair felt once it dried. I'm glad there weren't too many limitations for using it along with hair care products etc. None of those really effected me. I chose to use it at night usually before bed as that's when I have a little more time in the day. I applied it to dry hair. I did find some times the foam would go watery as I applied it to my hair which made finishing the application a little bit awkward to get out of cap. I was patient and held out to the very ended before doing my review. Unfortunately I really haven't seen any real change, There's a tiny amount of difference, nothing that anyone would notice. I really hoped this would be an answer to my problem. I do have some left from a few days over the 3 months that I missed and will use it up to see if anything more happens. It was a rather hot, humid Summer here and I'm not sure if sweating did effect my results, as it could have have been a reason it didn't work for due to perspiration. I don't drive so I walk and take the bus which means I spend much time outside and this year I definitely wasn't able to stay cool. Though it didn't make a real difference for me, I would still recommend giving it a try if you experience the appropriate types of thinning or hair loss as it may work for some and not others as some products like this do. I'm also glad I had the opportunity to try it for myself, especially at no cost to me. I may continue to try it for awhile longer as it can take longer than 3 months to see improvement, up to 6 months was noted in the info. The expense will probably be the main deciding factor at this stage, in trying it on a more long term basis. -
Froot Loops Birthday Cake

I personally don't like any Froot Loops but this flavour actually smelled so good that I had to try it. It had a pleasant smell and reminded me of vanilla cake with sprinkles. I actually thought it tasted like a cookie, a strawberry type cookie. I was surprised that either way I liked it. In our family of 5 only 1 didn't like them. So it was a definite hit. If you like Froot Loops or bakery type flavours that you give this a try. I recommend it. -

My husband surprised me with the new Coke Orange Sorbet! I love sorbet, sherbet and ices, have since childhood over ice cream, frozen yogurt etc. I have also loved Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke and old school Coke with a slice of lime or lemon. Will now maybe I'll be adding a slice of orange instead! I LOVED this new Coke flavour! I wasn't sure how the two flavours would work together but it does surprisingly. I taste Coke but I also clearly taste that wonderfully fruity, orange citrus frothy slightly creamy taste and smell of good Orange 🍊 Sorbet. I felt sort of like I was drinking a Float with Coke and Orange Sorbet. Just the perfect balance of each so that it wasn't odd in a bad way but odd in a very good "How did they do that?" way lol. I was very pleasantly surprised by the blend. I would never have thought to put the teo together but it really worked. I'm very glad I tried it and hope it will be around for awhile. If you like both or either of these two I suggest giving it a try! If you like Cherry Coke or Vanilla Coke I also suggest giving it a try. I can't wait to get more! -

I enjoy tea both hot and iced...black, green, white, herbal...bags or loose...supermarket or specialty stores, I enjoy a good variety all year long. I prefer fruity varieties best and I get excited when I find new blends to try. I happened to come across Tetley Bellini Peach Orange Herbal Tea on Instagram of all places. It looked and sounded heavenly and I had to find it and try it. Not easy to find, but I did finally find it and I'm so happy I did. It was appealing to me, from the beautiful fresh fruit slices on packaging to the name. The light smell of peaches and oranges greeted me when I broke the seal. Very light, I wondered if it would be strong enough to taste. Once the hot water hit the tea bag I could start to smell the wonderful blend. It was even fun to watch it change to a lovely peachy tone. It had a nice fresh taste to it along with a fresh smell. I loved it! It looked, smelled and tasted wonderful! It made me smile and feel a little relaxed. Within a few dips I was already imagining it as Iced Tea and making my own flavour blends! (It is great as Iced Tea, perfect with a slice of citrus or peach to make it even better and prettier) I enjoyed everything about this tea. If you like peaches or stone fruit as well as oranges or citrus I highly recommend trying this Herbal Tea blend! -

I love French Onion Soup. I have it when I see it on a menu and I make it from scratch a few times a year. Canned isn't usually very good and from a package or box the onions never seem the right texture, so I'm limited to how I can have it. So I was really happy when I happened across a 2 pack of Cuisine Adventure French Onion Soup while going through the frozen food section. It comes in a box with 2 individual portions frozen in easy to open plastic packaging "Smart Low Waste Opti Packaging". It's made with simmered fresh onions, croutons and real Swiss Cheese, no preservatives, no artificial colours and Vegetarian. (It's also apparently available in a6 pack)
There are a few options for cooking such as microwave, oven or a combination of the two. I prefer the combination so the cheese gets browned. I'm extremely impressed with the flavour and texture of this soup. It tastes homemade or restaurant quality. I've had restaurant versions that didn't taste even near to this! I really enjoy this each time I have it and hope it will be available for a long time. So far I've only been able to find it at 2 stores but hoping that more will carry it. I think it's great value for the price and definitely worth it. If you like French Onion Soup, I definitely recommend giving this a try for an at home or take with you alternative!

I love citrus things, so I get excited when I find food and drink with citrus. I especially like Key Lime which unfortunately you don't find a lot of. I was super excited when I came across Stewart's Fountain Classics Key Lime Soda. It looked great from the slightly old fashioned bottle cap and label to the beautiful light green liquid inside the clear bottle. I couldn't wait to get out of the store with it! Well it didn't disappoint! The smell was a wonderful sweet lime aroma when I opened the bottle. It was absolutely delicious! It was a perfect amount of lime taste for a soda/pop/ soft drink. It also really reminded me of Key Limes! I think the sweetness was just right. It would probably be great along with some Gin or Rum for an alcoholic drink... maybe a strawberry or raspberry or two and a slice of lime or mint. Perfect for the summer or as a pick me up when you are missing the warm weather. I really enjoyed this drink and will buy it when ever I see it! Unfortunately I've only seen it a few times... so I will be going back to stock up! If you like Key Lime, limes or citrus I highly recommend you try this yummy drink! -

I received 2 free Vileda Scrunge Multi-use Scrub Sponges from Family Rated to try & review. I LOVE it! Both sides are strong, durable and tough. I've used it for spills, table tops, kid' s table & chairs, on counter tops, cupboards, serving dishes, glassware, Teflon Pots and pans, regular pots & pans, Visions cookware,bake ware, mixing bowls, fridge (inside & outside), stove, microwave...pretty much everything! It cleans incredibly well, leaves no scratches. Absorbs a ton of liquid, rinses/squeezes out easily & well. Doesn't smell after use. Stays in one piece and doesn't start to fall a part no matter how rough you are. I can put it in the dishwasher to make sure it gets good & clean. I've used other Vileda sponges and this is even better quality. Very happy with these sponges. It's a real all in one cleaning tool! I highly recommend these! -

I was excited to try the new Diet Coke Zesty Blood Orange as I'm making major changes to my daily diet and thought it might be a good addition. It started out not bad with a mild blood orangey taste and quickly moved to a very odd after taste for a soft drink/pop. It left a weird peppery, burning tingly feeling in my throat and mouth similar to the after taste of eating candy cinnamon hearts or candy Hot Tamales. Not at all what I was expecting! The more I drank the worse it got. I didn't like the taste/sensation. I was really disappointed and I won't try it again nor do I recommend it unless you like the candies that it tastes like and that sensation. A big miss for me. I will still try to taste the other new flavours of Diet Coke. -

#LilydaleCA Our family got to try & review Lilydale Canada Natural Select deli meat in Applewood Smoked Chicken for free. It was awesome! Every one enjoyed on it's own, with salad, in sandwiches. Very tender full of flavour. I loved it with a Romaine salad. We also loved the Hickory Smoked Turkey in sandwiches! These were a hit at our house and we were really glad we got to taste them! Good sized sliced and several slices in the pack. Love the resealable package too! Give them a try! -
