I received the Dove Fresh + Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo for free from a ChickAdvisor Product Review Club Opportunity. I hated this product! It takes a lot for my to say I hate a product, but this did it. Not only did the product not live up to its claims of being a dry shampoo, it actually made my hair look dirty and I had to wash my hair after using it before I could go out. It leaves a horrible residue and does nothing to combat oil. Even the smell isn't pleasing. Save your money and don't buy this product! -

It offers a good hold without feeling like your hair has been cemented in place. It holds up to its flexible name. The scent is average, without being overwhelming. I would buy this product again and recommend it to anyone looking for a medium hold hairspray. -

I received the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil for free as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club opportunity. I love this product! The scent is wonderful and lasts for days, without being too overpowering. It nourished my dry ends and revived my hair. A little goes a long way, literally a dime size amount for my shoulder length hair is enough. It holds up to all its claims and is something I would purchase again, no matter the price. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to nourish their hair. -

I received the Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Conditioner for free as part of a ChickAdvisor product review club opportunity. The conditioner is a pretty average product. It has a basic smell, nothing too overpowering. The consistency is what you would expect from a regular conditioner. It rinses easily and doesn't way your hair down. I didn't find it added any additional moisture to my hair. To be honest nothing really stands out about the product. I probably wouldn't buy it, unless it was on sale. It doesn't do anything that regular drug store shampoo doesn't do. As for recommending it to a friend, probably not, because again - nothing special. -

I received the Garnier SkinActive Miracle Anit-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer for free as part of a ChickAdvisor Product Review Club opportunity. As the name suggests the product is a gel consistency. It goes on smoothly, leaving your skin feeling soft and somewhat matte. The slight scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. I find this provides a great base before applying your makeup. For a daytime moisturizer the product works well. I didn't notice it providing any anti-fatigue effects. I like this product for a primer before makeup but don't know if it is worth the price. For that reason I would probably not purchase it. -

I received the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water for free as part of a ChickAdvisor Product Review Club opportunity. The product does make your skin feel fresh and clean, however I noticed it doesn't take all your makeup off, especially eye makeup. I had to use my regular eye makeup remover afterwards to remove the rest of my eye makeup. Considering I don't use waterproof or a large amount of eye makeup I was a little bit disappointed by this. It does leave your skin feeling hydrated. I can see this product being great in the summer when you are outdoors (maybe have sunscreen on) and are feeling sweaty and want to freshen up. While a little goes a long way, I don't know if I would pay $9.99 for something that isn't taking all my makeup off. For that reason I may not buy the product again. As I said, if you are looking for a refresher in the summer and are willing to pay the price then I would recommend the product to others. Not if you are expecting it to remove all your makeup. -

I received the Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bar - Cranberry with Blackberry for free as part of a ChickAdvisor Product Review Club opportunity. I enjoyed the Cranberry with Blackberry. It was flavourful, not too sweet and had a good consistency. There was a nice balance between the sweetness of the fruit, the dark chocolate flavour, and the crunch of the nuts. This was probably my favourite out of all 3 flavours as the cranberry provided a nice tart flavor. Not sure how much blackberry flavour I was able to taste. I was surprised at the quantity of nuts in the bar and that for the most part they were large or whole pieces vs. small bits you get with some bars. Probably one of the better snack bars on the market. The only thing that would prevent me from purchasing this bar would be the calorie/fat content. With 180 calories per bar and 9grams of fat this isn't something that can easily be incorporated into a low calorie/low fat diet. As a treat, I would definitely consider it because of the healthy ingredients inside. -

I received the Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bar - Cherry with Pomegranate for free as part of a ChickAdvisor Product Review Club opportunity. I enjoyed the Cherry with Pomegranate. It was flavourful, not too sweet and had a good consistency. There was a nice balance between the sweetness of the fruit, the dark chocolate flavour, and the crunch of the nuts. The cherry flavor did come through more than the pomegranate in my opinion.
