I received the Vichy ProEVEN Night from ChickAdvisor for free. When I first tried the product my first thought was how much I liked the scent of it. It is not perfumed, but has a really pleasant, mild scent. For someone who is sensitive to scents this was welcomed. Immediately upon applying my sensitive and dry skin felt smooth and hydrated. I did apply my normal night cream a few minutes after as I didn't feel this was enough moisture for the night. As for correcting any dark spots I haven't noticed a significant change. Some small changes to a few sun spots around my upper lip but the large spot on my forehead doesn't look any different. To be fair, I have only been using this for two weeks and I believe the minimum time suggested is 4 weeks. Compared to other products I have noticed more of a change with this product in the short time I have been using it. I also didn't have the added benefits of the hydration and smooth effect on the skin that I have with this product. The product is a little pricey compared to what I would like to spend. However, a little does go a long way! I would recommend this to anyone looking for this type of product! -

I received the Vichy ProEVEN Advanced Daily Dark Spot Correct from ChickAdvisor for free. When I first tried the product my first thought was how much I liked the scent of it. It is not perfumed, but has a really pleasant, mild scent. For someone who is sensitive to scents this was welcomed. Immediately upon applying my sensitive and dry skin felt smooth, hydrated and ready for make up. It made applying my foundation easier. This alone makes me want to continue using the product. While I was super excited when I found out I would be receiving the Schlage Addison Door lever from Chick Advisor I was also a little worried. My handy woman skills are more like Tim Allen the. Bob Villa if you get by drift! So putting all apprehensions aside I grabbed my toolkit and went for it. I had been dying to replace my clost door handle for ages. It was a boring gold ball handle that was original to when the house was built. Builder's boring and cheep fixture. For me the hardest part was getting the old handle off the door. Not sure what the builder did to get it on there but he sure didn't want it coming off! Once that was conquered the install of the Schlage Addison Door lever was straight forward. The instructions were clear and it was smooth sailing. The door handle feels and looks substantial and is definitely worth the price. I went around the house counting how many door handles I would have to replace and it would be a hefty sum all at once so this will be a gradual process, but I wouldn't think twice about purchasing the Schlage Addison Door Lever. Below are the before (nasty gold ball handle) and the after (Schlage Addison Door Lever). Ignore the paint touch up that needs to happen on the closet door...that is all due to the removal of the old door handle! -

I got this kit as a stocking stuffer for Christmas which is great because I love the Eos lip balm line. The lip balms didn't fail. The Pomegranate Raspberry Smooth Sphere lip balm smells great and goes on smooth just like all the other scents. The surprise was the Strawberry Sorbet Smooth Stick lip balm. I have never had a lip balm from Eos that wasn't sphere shaped. This one is in the standard tube/stick shape and did not disappoint. The one part of the kit that I didn't like was the Berry Blossom hand lotion. It comes in a cool shaped container but the scent is not for me. I am not sure where the Berry Blossom comes in as I just didn't get that smell that I usually love about EOS products. The lotion had a very generic strong perfume smell. I also wasn't a fan of the consistency as it was a little thin for my liking. Having said all that I would purchase the kit just for the 2 lip balms and to support Breast Cancer awareness. -

To be fair I was expecting to receive an eye brow pencil not a brow gel. For someone who has very full dark eyebrows the idea of a brow gel just wasn't something I wanted to use. I did try it for the sake of this review and was not crazy about the results. It took a lot of experimenting with the product to make sure I didn't have too much product on my brows. Even once I managed to reduce the amount of product on my brows it wasn't the look I was going for. I could see if you had very light brows or brows that have faded spots this would be helpful. Also if you brows just don't hold in place this could be beneficial. Given that I don't have any of these issues it is hard to judge the product fairly. -

The GOSH Mineral Powder performs as it claims. It has a light texture, is easy to apply and blends well into the skin. It provides a matte finish with a medium coverage. My concern is in some areas on my face I have very dry skin (especially as we head into the cooler months) and I found that the powder drew more attention to these areas. I would recommend this product to people with normal to oily skin. If you have dry skin this isn't the product for you. -

Loved how the GOSH Double Precision Mascara performed exactly as indicated! It added length and definition to both my top and lower lashes. I have always had trouble getting the balance between extra volume and definition on top while getting just enough coverage on the bottom without adding too much product. By having to brushes designed to apply the right amount of product, one for the top lashes, one for the bottom lashes, my problems are solved. I love this product! -

I was surprised with how much I like the Dove Go Sleeveless with Nutrium Moisture. I am an aerosol deodorant girl. I hate the clumping and thick layers that happen with most traditional stick deodorants. Who needs to lift up their arm only to find chunks of deodorant. Not me! Enter the Dove Go Sleeveless...it is light, has great coverage and actually does feel smooth. There was no dreaded clumping or residual residue. I liked how my under arms felt moisturized as well. I may have found a replacement for my years of aerosol use! -

I ordered a DQ Blizzard Cake (Skor Bar) through their online ordering system after receiving a gift card from Chick Advisor to try out the cake and online ordering system. I was impressed with the variety of cakes available and had a hard time deciding (they all looked so good in the photos). The ordering online was fast, easy to use and allowed me to make the customizations I wanted (message, colour of icing used for message,etc.). When I arrived at the store the cake was ready for me and the staff were very helpful. Again the process was painless. We were celebrating the success of a new family business and it was the perfect addition to the evening. The cake was loved by everyone and many had second slices. I will definately be ordering future cakes this way as it was easy, fool proof and the price and quality can't be beat! -
