Anyone who’s ever known me knows I LOVE lip balm and can’t live without it!
So when I heard about the YSL Loveshine Candy Glow Sheer-Shine Colour & Care Lip Balm I just HAD to try it!
I tried 2 colours and they both were perfect because I don’t like to wear dark lip colours on a daily basis and I like my lips to look natural, muted and well hydrated specially when I’m at work unless it’s a very big, important meeting day or it’s a special day/night out.
Everyone also knows that I really like most YSL products but I always give an absolutely honest opinion and will not say I like something if I don’t, that’s just me.
So anyway, I was extremely busy last week with the big, gorgeous Indian wedding of a very close niece and I ended up falling very sick this week. That resulted in my lips being extra dry and I really needed them to stay hydrated for long periods of time because I didn’t have the energy to even sit up for hours on end.
What better time to try my lip balms from YSL? So I did and let me just say - they didn’t disappoint in the slightest bit! I love the way they glide on so easily, I love the extremely subtle hint of colour, I love the length of time for which they make my lips feel and stay hydrated. It also made them feel plumper and look visibly fuller thanks to the pomegranate, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, they’re infused with.
Needless to say I definitely recommend this product!

I don’t know why I didn’t know about this setting spray before now! I feel like I’ve missed out my whole life (or at least for as long it’s been around lol). I have tried a few setting sprays but they’ve usually only succeeded in making my make up smudge and spread instead of staying put. So I pretty much stopped using setting sprays and was just happy to look like normal people do (you know what I mean - those people who have their make up half off by the end of the day or night - lol)!!
Then I was given a chance to try this Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof make up setting spray and I thought to myself I have nothing to lose by trying it - I mean how bad can it be?!?
PS. I know Urban Decay products are the bomb so I was sure it couldn’t be half bad - still I wanted to try it for myself. And what better time than now when I have a big fat Indian wedding in my family?
So I put it to the extreme test - a wedding function where everyone is dancing for 8 hours and is sweating their heads off 1 hour into it. I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves! First picture of me before I left home - 2nd picture 6 hours in (and I hadn’t put on my lipstick before spraying my face).
My verdict….does it work? Hell yeah!!
Now I’m wondering why I never thought of trying it before now!!!

I love Lancôme Renergie products and was super excited to be selected to receive the Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye to test. Alas, I was sick when it arrived and then when I was well enough to test it, I was really upset when the pump didn’t work properly. Every time I used it, I pumped it many times but only one of the 3 parts to it came out. I’ve tried it for over 2 weeks but it still hasn’t been fixed. I don’t know what it is about it but I still feel like even the one part has worked to visibly reduce my dark circles - I can’t explain it! So I’m willing to give it another chance and would definitely try it again!

I’ve suffered from extreme dry skin since I had very aggressive radiation as part of my cancer treatment last year. I suffered from complete 3rd degree burns and as a result my skin has not only become very dry and tight it has also become very tender and sensitive. I need to use unscented yet very moisturizing products on it due to its sensitivity.
When I got the chance to try the Advanced Moisture Therapy Lotion I was very happy since I’ve used other Lubriderm products for my skin and really like them.
I love how well and quickly it gets absorbed in my skin and how soft and gentle it makes my skin feel.
I’ve been using it for the last week and a half and my skin has been feeling much more elastic and soft since then.
I have made this product a part of my daily life and use it 2-3 times a day. I wish I could’ve used it right from the start of my treatment. A little goes a long way. Totally recommend it to anyone with dry skin - whether sensitive or not!

I have suffered from extreme dry skin since I had very aggressive radiation as part of my cancer treatment last year. I suffered from complete 3rd degree burns and as a result my skin has not only become very dry and tight it has also become very tender and sensitive. As a result I need to use very gentle products for cleansing it due to its sensitivity and can’t use any scented products while cleansing or moisturizing it.
When I got the chance to try the Advanced Moisture Therapy Bodywash I was very happy since I’ve used other Lubriderm products for my skin and really like them.
I love how well it lathers and how gentle it feels on my skin but most importantly, how my skin feels so clean and moist simultaneously.
I’ve been using it for the last week and a half and my skin has been feeling much more elastic and soft since then.
I have made this product a part of my daily life and can’t understand where it was all this time! Totally recommend it.

I’m recovering from surgery and have been dealing with a lot of pain. In addition, I’m not allowed to use any scented products. So when I got the chance to try the Ozonol Non Stinging ointment, I was very happy. I have also resumed work this week and my pain levels have gone up tremendously due to having to sit at my desk and work on my laptop all day. So I have really needed to deal with the additional pain. I’m not a big fan of taking pain killers often, so I prefer to use topical products. I usually use products like ointments and oils that alternate between hot and cold relief but I’ve never tried the non stinging options. I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical about how efficient this would be. But I’ve been using it for this whole past week and I love the fact that it really does help relieve pain and doesn’t have smell. I’m pleasantly surprised about the fact that my pain seems to disappear after a little while.
I would recommend this for anyone who likes topical pain relievers but can’t handle the smell or sting!

I received the Prisma Glass Lip Gloss from Armani & Butterly for free to try & give my honest opinion. I use other Armani products including the Lip Maestro Satin regularly.
The gloss I received is colourless & was a real revelation. As soon as I received the package I opened it and tried it on my arm. I loved how easily it glides on & how glittery it is.
I decided to try it over my favorite Matt red lipstick. It instantly upped the glam level (see without & with the gloss). I had it on all day, ate & drank throughout & even showered & shampooed at the end of the day with a wash of my face. Shockingly, it stayed on & barely looked less vibrant after everything - I’ve taken pics as proof.
I found & love the following things about it:
1. How shiny it makes my lips
2. How soft my lips feel
3. The fact that it doesn’t dry my lips at all but makes them more moist.
4. How long it lasts
5. It doesn’t transfer off or become dull.
I absolutely 100% recommend this Gloss.

I received the Fleecy Sensations Brazilian Paradise Liquid from Butterly to test a few weeks ago. Let’s start with the scent. I don’t like too many different scents in my laundry because I just have very specific scents that I can tolerate. So when I saw the name of this one, I’ll admit I thought it’s going to be too much. But I had a bunch of towels and blankets that needed washing and so it was the perfect opportunity to test it out. Shockingly, the scent was way better than I expected - kind of reminded me of my childhood growing up with tropical and sort of rainforest types of smells and scents.
Next up, I was actually surprised with the softness of the towels and the blankets.
Third, I’m always a bit weary about using fabric conditioner on my throw blankets because they usually end up getting destroyed and start shedding as much as my dog! Again I was pleasantly surprised with the results.
So yes, despite my own fears and apprehensions, I was proved wrong and this product did all it said it would so I recommend this product!

I received the Palmolive Essential Clean Liquid Dish Soap - Grapefruit Pomegranate-scent to test from Butterly a few weeks ago. I am recovering from surgery so I wasn’t able to use it myself till last weekend. The scent of it is really lovely and refreshing and the soap definitely cleans the dishes and the grease off them very well and easily. My hands still felt soft after using it so that shows me it’s gentle on the skin.
I was impressed to read that the soap is made with 100% biodegradable ingredients and is paraben and phosphates free and it is made in a certified zero waste facility.
I’m happy using this liquid dish soap and would recommend it.

I received the Colgate Optic White Advanced Oxygenating White Teeth Whitening Toothpaste, Oxygenating White, 73 mL, 1 pack from Butterly to test a few weeks ago.
The whitening toothpaste is vegan and uses hydrogen peroxide which I have known for many years is an ingredient used for brightening teeth. I used it for 3 weeks to see if it made any difference and I feel like the shade of my teeth is definitely a bit brighter but it may be too soon to tell just how effective it is. I like the fact that it’s not very hard on the enamel unlike most other whitening toothpastes and it doesn’t leave a strange taste in my mouth. I can use this toothpaste regularly.
