Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick
I really like this lipstick. It goes on nice and smooth. My lips feel perfectly moisturized with it, so no need to use a balm under this lipstick! It's a semi-matte so when going on it doesn't feel wet, greasy or glossy like regular lipsticks feel... +
I really like this lipstick. It goes on nice and smooth. My lips feel perfectly moisturized with it, so no need to use a balm under this lipstick! It's a semi-matte so when going on it doesn't feel wet, greasy or glossy like regular lipsticks feel. It also doesn't feel too dry either, like a full matte does. A full matte pretty much feels like you're rubbing an eraser on your lips.
The color and moisture lasts for hours. I basically just have to touch it up when I'd usually use my lip balm - just a couple times a day. Mauve Moment is a pinkish-red shade that works really well with my brown hair/eyes. There is a very slight scent to it which actually encourages me to not lick my lips. The scent doesn't bother my nose or skin though, so it works well for me and also why I do recommend this lipstick.
I got this product as part of a free Premium ChickAdvisor welcome gift. The regular price is a bit steep for my wallet, but is worth it if you are looking for a high quality long-lasting semi-matte that'll keep your lips moisturized through the day.

I've just discovered probably the best perk of being an adult: Chocolate with every meal? Sold!
For less than ten bucks (regular price at Walmart!), I bought myself a huge 1.36KG canister of the powdered chocolate Nesquick. I was surprised that it said to use just two tablespoons into my cup of milk (I could of swore when I was a kid, no less than ten heaping scoops and a wee squirt of milk would do)...
Anyhow, I followed the directions, and it tastes incredible! Such a creamy, smooth chocolate taste. The taste is simply filled with nostalgia. And apparently the adults in my life way back then were right - you really don't need ten scoops to get the same exact awesome flavour! Huh.
I also tried two tablespoons of the powder, about one tablespoon of milk, stirred that til creamy, then poured just-boiled water over to fill up the mug while stirring. Best hot chocolate I've had in years! It goes down easy - none of the grits you get with no name stuff.
The canister says you can even make hot chocolate with mixing straight warm milk with the powder, but I had to try it with water because let's face it: lactose-free Milk is expensive!
I'm very happy and even found a few recipes I can use Nesquick for (instead of Cocoa - which costs way more than this huge can). Totally going to keep my pantry stocked with Nesquick from now on.

This came with my ChickAdvisor Premium welcome kit and I absolutely LOVE it! As the bottle suggests, I've been using it 3 times a week (it says 3-5) since it arrived about a month ago. Just the tiniest bit - not even the size of a pea - is needed to get the whole face. So, I think this tube will last me at least 2-3 months or more. That means, in my opinion, it is totally worth the $12 retail value!
I was in the hospital again the other day and glanced at the mirror and actually did a double take because I was surprised at how my face looked without makeup or sleep (and hunched over in pain). It looked good! Fresh, even. It actually made me smile. Will give that credit to Vasanti and ChickAdvisor, thank you very much. :)
It hardly has a scent. I'd say it smells like freshly squeezed aloe vera with a slight hint of something that just makes me smile. That's probably the natural coconut. My skin sometimes reacts to chemically made perfumes in other high end products, so I know for sure this is all-natural because my face is loving my Vasanti.
My face feels so good when I'm circling it in (avoiding the eye area, as the bottle smartly reminded me - a rookie exfoliator - to do). I let the water rinse it off and my face feels so clean and soft and stays that way right to the next shower! I'm excited to see how it stands up to an East Coast summer - so, I'll definitely be buying more. Thank you!

Sure am glad to have gotten this as part of my #ChickAdvisorPremium welcome kit. The most important thing I did first was grab out those instructions which essentially told me to not double-dip and to wipe the stick off before putting it back into the tube (which, in my opinion, should be written on the tube itself).
It works best with Matte lipsticks (like the Katy Kat COVERGIRL series) or even a semi-matte (like the Mary Kay gel semi-matte that was also included in the ChickAdvisor Premium welcome kit).
As it promises, after 5-10 minutes, I was able to take a sip of tea without leaving my mouth behind on the cup.
I tried it with all my different kinds of lipsticks (cream, balm, matte, semi-matte):
My matte and semi-matte both yielded the same results. The colour stayed as vibrant as when first applied and by the 10-minute kiss test, there were zero colour transfers. For the matte testing, I used Katy Kat Matte and Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte, respectively.
The cream lipstick (L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Colour) really didn't mix well with the top coat. The kiss test after ten minutes was still slightly smudgy. Not too surprising though, because it is a lipstick with built-in moisture. The topcoat isn't made to dry my lips out...
My balm lipstick, just a slight smudge was shown after 5 minutes with the topcoat applied. After 10 minutes, my test area was clear. That being said, so were my lips. The colour had completely faded from my lips and I had to reapply lipstick. Which meant reapplying the topcoat. After 10 minutes, same story. So, I wouldn't use it for balms either (I tested with L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Balm).
I say You Betcha! I recommend to try this topcoat, especially for Matte fans... but...
For $25, I personally wouldn't buy it again. Mostly because I don't wear matte lipstick very often. So, I'd just spend the money on a few tubes of $8-10 cream lipsticks with a sealer already in the stuff.
That being said, I know a lot of rockabilly chicks out there would absolutely love this topcoat in all its glory. So, I'll be for sure recommending this to all my lovely pin-up girls.

I was very happy to receive this in the #ChickAdvisorPremium welcome bag. As soon as I read on the bottle that it was made in Italy, I knew I'd like this stuff. This large bottle retails around $8 and can be found at Walmart.
It smells fantastic - really does make me picture the blossom-lined Parisian streets in the quick of Spring. It's not as thick as I thought it would be though- being named a Creme and all. Rather, the consistency is more in between a creamy milk wash and a regular liquid body wash. That being said, it lathers and rinses off very nicely using just my hands, as the bottle promises. It definitely leaves my skin feeling clean and the scent lingers on the skin throughout the day like a true French kiss.
However, it also leaves my skin feeling quite dried out. For this reason, I will not be buying it again, but I will finish the rest of the bottle. Instead of a body wash, I'll use it as a hand wash because of how beautiful it smells, plus I use hand lotion during the day so it'll offset the dry feeling.
So, I recommend this to be used just as a hand wash - not a full body wash. If it were on a more than half off sale, I'd buy it to use as hand wash.

I'm so happy I got my awesome "Cherry-Glo-Round" shade of CND creative play for my nails. Even with my shaky hands, it brushes on smooth and dries pretty quick. Then it lasts on my nails for about a week before it starts flaking. This bottle will last me a while so it's well worth the money spent.
Another thing I love is that it comes off really easy - just as easy as polish without glitters. That super impressive detail right there is why I'm going to buy this kind again. The last time I tried a polish with glitter in it the stuff was so hard to get off that I've avoided buying polish with glitter til I got this stuff.
I will definitely get this Cherry-Glo-Round color again plus will check out more of the Creative Play shades with glitter!

I am so glad to have gotten this cream for my hands! It smells so good - just as it says on the tube, like a warm french vanilla. It really is a heavy cream so the tube needs to be squeezed a bit hard to push out a little - but just a little is all you need, so I think they must have had that in mind when packaging. A little less than an inch-long strip put on the top of one hand and rubbed in with the top of the other hand was all I needed. Speaking about packaging, I was very happy to see a protective seal when opening the tube.
When first rubbing it in, the scent is so deliciously fresh and natural, like an oven at the very moment it's time to take out a vanilla cake. It isn't greasy and even after a few hand washes, the hint of vanilla still works its calming magic and my hands stay soft and hydrated without need to reapply.
The price is acceptable when I consider the ingredients of what they put in - and more importantly, what they leave out so that my hands are able to take in all the french vanilla beauty with zero discomforts.
I will definitely buy this hand cream again and totally recommend it to everyone.

The polish dries super fast and doesn't chip easy. It's affordable to all budgets and is found at the pharmacy, grocery store or anywhere else you'd buy nail polish.
For an inexpensive brand, it sure is high quality! I totally recommend and will be getting this shade again!

Normally, I need at least two to three of anything else to barely do anything that helps with the pain and grossness on my bad health days. These Super Strength Motrin Liquid Gels are so strong that I only need one. It definitely lives up to the promise to relieve even migraines. With the comfort, I was able to sleep for hours. Something usually unheard of, even on days I'm feeling alright. I totally recommend these to anyone who's having a rough health day and I'll be getting more of these. -
